It’s nice to see the kids playing well. It’s been SO LONG since we had promising young talent, and hey they’re hanging tough overall too. SHOULD only get better and better. U take your lumps and it’s the kids but look around the league it’s how everyone is doing it. Young talent. Orioles, KC, Reds, Tigers etc. Even the defending National League champions are kids. It’s an actual positive sign for the future. Not saying it happens this year but man it’s nice to see
How bout then Red Sox… just kicked the cubbies rear! It’s those city jerseys.. I wonder. Is tyler O’Neil going to be another person we let walk. Just like Duvall and renfroe. Well renfroe we traded for Jackie Bradley… 🤨🤨. I still hate that trade.. it’s still hurts!
Wait can someone tell me why the bell they brought in a DH player to pitch??? At 9:56. Like why? I get the games over and they might be just waving the white flag but why not just bring in a real pitcher? Is it to save their pitchers arm?
@@evanelliott9880yea but it just seems like a weird situation to do that. It’s not the playoffs, there was only one inning left. How tired can your closer get? Lol and don’t they usually have a couple other pitchers that aren’t as good and don’t play as much to do a job like that? Throwing in a DH is just wild to me haha
@@BaMFusco The biggest deficit ever overcome by a major league team is 12 runs, and that's happened 3 times. When the Cubs brought Mervis in to pitch (in the 8th), they were down 11, a deficit that's only ever been overcome 5 times. Knowing they were going to lose, the Cubs' just try to get the game over with, relievers are spared unnecessary risk of injury, and can take advantage of rest for future games.
You mean the most beautiful uniforms in baseball? And the ones that have given us an insane amount of luck? You realize those are the Boston Marathon colors, right?
OK, DH, here's the ball. Now go out there and show 'em what ya got...seriously? And to think years ago REAL pitchers pitched both games of a twin bill. Do the Cubbies have a bunch of "girlie men" in their pen or what?
@@CaptainLumpyDog Yeah, 70 years "new"...started keeping line scores in 1954...Jensen in right, Piersall in center, Williams in left, Malzone at 3rd, Buddin at short, Klaus at 2nd, Zauchin (or Gernert) at 1st, White behind the plate...and you? You obviously missed my point...try again.
Can you please give us a break from the Ukrainian propaganda. Does your organization support America as much? Will the players be wearing patriotic jerseys around INDEPENDENCE DAY??? I'm betting not a chance.
What are you talking about? The yellow uniforms have nothing to do with the Ukraine. They're Boston marathon inspired and have been around since before the war.
