You cannot convince me that something fishy isn't going on with this Carpenter guy.. the fact that he played average at best for several years then comes back to the Yankees after not playing for awhile and suddenly he hits like Barry Bonds? How convenient for the Yankees huh? Something isn't right here. All I'm saying is that I wouldn't be surprised if this season is rigged for a Yankees WS win. MLB is desperate for the Yankees to win again. That's why they've been shoving the Yankees and Aaron Judge down our throats all season long. (because they want him to be the next Derek Jeter ) There's a lot of fishy business going on behind the scenes and it's not right. Plus having the Yankees in the World Series does make them a ton of money. I'm calling it right now WS will be Dodgers vs. New York Yankees with The Yankees winning at Yankee Stadium and a sellout crowd that breaks records. Because.... money.
@@aaronbrown948 Calm down ,they just have a really good season with a great start ,that's why they talk about them ,like the dodgers ,mets or astros ,and they still haven't lose 30 games . I dont thing Judge ,Carpenter or the yankees winning is rigged ,if they wanted them to get another WS ,that would have been done already (between 2009 and 2021maybe ... but the NBA/NFL has shown us ,that big market finals haren't always the ones that people watch the most)
@@thibaultfavrat302 The reason why I'm saying it's rigged is because this may be Judge's last year in pinstripes. Everyone knows that. They want him to win a ring with the Yankees. This will probably be his last chance. MLB wants him to be the golden child/face of the sport for the year 2022 and he's 30 years old so.. It's not far off for people to think this way.
Being a yankees fan doesn't mean you have to dislike everyone on a rival team. Mookie Betts is my favorite player. Makes me happy he's on the dodgers now 😂
@@robertlosasso4222 you act like playing the outfield is harder than playing the infield lol. Carpenter will be just fine out there and will actually be producing runs, something gallo can't seem to figure out.
He's not that kind of player. He goes on hot streaks but they don't last. Watch in a few more weeks he won't be able to hit at all. He was like that on the Cardinals at least. Would go on a really nice hot streak but it would only last for like 2 weeks or so. He's streaky as can be.
Judge tied history today. Tied Roger Maris for most homeruns before the all star break by a Yankee with 33. Tomorrow he can break it. I hope to god he breaks it but man, witnessing history with Judge and the team, has been special.
Carpenter just killing the ball since joining the Yankees. You would have thought they traded their best prospect to get him. Nope. Dude was out there unwanted. Unreal
This Yankees team reminds me a lot of the 2018 Red Sox where almost everyone on that lineup was hitting and pitching was dominate. I remember they also beat the Yankees really badly in a game that year I think it was like 16-1 or something close to this. Interestingly enough the Red Sox also got no hit that year just like the Yankees did this year. They have a lot of similarities.
@@jwanie366 honestly the more i think about it the less it surprises me. That Red Sox team made history with the amount of wins before the all star break and they were DOMINANT. When you win so much, they're are bound to be some BIG lows. Yanks also went 9-10 vs them that year in head to head, which is also pretty similar to the way the season series are playing out for the two teams rn.
@@paduls Yeah they won like 68 games before the All Star break that year which is insane. The Red Sox were really good that year obviously they won the WS lol

JBJ just needs to be in the outfield by himself lol. It’s almost like nobody’s out there with him he’s tracking everything. Definitely one of the funnest guys to watch play outfield since Griff in my opinion.
Bro he’s crazy to watch. Every time there’s a game against the Red Sox I’m impressed with his outfield defense. Thank god he can’t hit or he’d be really scary
He was good in 2018 with the Red Sox AB I don't know what happened because he cannot hit to save his life anymore. He's really painful to watch now. I still don't think trading Renfroe for him was a smart move at all. Should have left him where he was and extended Renfroe and kept Schwarber too.
@@aaronbrown948 I kinda describe him as like a Billy Hamilton. Awesome fielder, poor bat. Billy Hamilton stays in the bigs by having a great glove and he steals like 40 bags a year if he plays a full season without getting sent down.
@@SouthsideSox007 Renfroe was a pretty good fielder too but he knew how to hit and there would be a few times he came in clutch. But Jackie Bradley total opposite. Another boneheaded move by Chaim though. I like JBJ as a person but he’s hurting the Red Sox when he’s in the lineup. Automatic out every time.
Just imagine how many home runs Matt Carpenter would have if he had been playing in the MLB since the beginning of the season. What a great pickup. Go Yankees
I like to think that his magic comes from this unique situation that he’s in. Passed over, sitting on his couch with something left to prove, and he gets his chance. Hope it never ends.
@@louaug27 The Yankees are more than aware of the magic they captured inside him. & Are going to do everything in there power to make sure he's not over used. Or under used to make sure the magic inside him doesn't dry up. Until they at least capture a world series championship. Go Yankees
I mean look at their lineup and pitching. The owner refuses to do anything. We basically have a triple a lineup. Try having like 5 Joey Gallos on your team that’s the Boston Red Sox this year. It also doesn’t help that Devers is the only one who can really hit
@@aaronbrown948 case you forgot, Yankees are greatest team in American sports history. We don't need to beat our rivals to feel special, we're already goated
The Yankees need to sit Gallo for good and make Carpenter their everyday right fielder. Carp has proven that he can hit lefties (as well as righties) and has the perfect swing for Yankee Stadium.
Bronx Bombers stop the bleeding with a dominating win over BOS. "ALL RISE HERE COMES THE JUDGE 👨⚖️!!!" aka the AL MVP with 2 HRs. He was slumping big time and hopefully this will help him for the 2nd half of the season. Carpenter aka Luigi has been an absolute blessing this season. Taillon with a solid bounce back outing. Tomorrow let's get the series win and some much deserved rest during the ASB. GO YANKEES!!!! #CHASEFOR28
1st if all Taillon coming back was nice and well needed for himself. Not sure how he’ll hold up till October. Second of all Judge gets called on way too many low strikes it’s horrible. 3rd of all BRONX BOMBERS NUKED TONIGHT LFG!!!!! GGs
Matty Mustache can RAKE! Doing it all. Homers, bunting, base hits, sac flys... he'll do what it takes to help the team. 7 RBIs! Everyone should grow a mustache...the whole team. Follow him. FOLLOW HIM TO FREEDOM! Keep it up, bombers. Let's go Yanks!
That was the win we needed after this past week. I often find myself asking "why are they still pitching to him?" but then I realize you can't just walk Judge, Carpenter, Stanton and Rizzo every time. I loved the signing of Carp as soon as it happened but nights like this as the legend of Matty Moustache continues are just amazing to watch. GO YANKS!
@@jawick5150 it's by far. It's fine to lose a series to a bad team here and there. Looks like they have the best record and the playoffs haven't started yet so we can only go by what the facts are. Facts are Yankees have the best record.
The Red Sox had putting up such an effort that it makes them look like they are playing in the playoffs already, they may don't make it but they had been playing brilliant.
No Yankees vs Red Sox rivalry will equal the 2000s rivalry!!! Jeter and the Yanks vs Pig Pappy and the Red Sox. Every year we saw eachother in the playoffs, and the later part of the season was all down to the final series of the season. The AL east, 1 and 2, went to the wire. Heart brake was common, then there was game 7, 2003 ALCS. Every one remembers the Moonshot By Boone, off of Tim Wakefield.
"We should trade him for ohtani or trout" LMAO. Joey Gallo is worth a pack of peanuts and a plastic fork. The second our GM utters Joey Gallo's name in a trade conversation, the other team is hanging up the phone guaranteed.
It's really not easy for Matt Carpenter to have such a performance, and can defend multiple positions Hope to give him a championship ring this year!!!
Obviously the Red Sox got crushed here, but man Jackie Bradley Jr's defense was ON POINT. Problem is that he can't catch balls that go over the wall...
