 Honestly, the Black Mamba sessions I’ve been having so far become the highlight of my month and I’ve gotten to know some of you on a much more personal level as well as discovering new songs! I literally have a playlist full of songs I wouldn’t have heard otherwise! I’ve spent hours chatting about our favourite music, playing music related games, cracking jokes and also having heart to hearts

I’m convinced Bye bye was specifically made for us, red velvet abducted us, examined our brains and said okay we’re going to give jawn and fifi everything they’ve ever wanted. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? Bye bye is one of the best songs in all of kpop this is so insane, I feel so wronged but in the best way possible

On a Ride is so fucking good. Red Velvet always has the best B-sides, but that one sounds like it could be an honest to god title track as well as a B-side. The melodies, the vocals, the beat, it's just soooooo good.

LUV U FIFI!! thank YOU for mentioning how red velvet have BEEN weird. i feel like reveluvs this time around have nothing to defend for this era because we got the vision of 'birthday' at first listen - like if you know, YOU KNOW!! this album felt like the culmination of their youthful sound with where they are now in terms of their vocal capabilities. it's nostalgic, but also mature at the same time, if that makes sense. pop the champagne, luvies!! its a celebration babyyyyyyyyy this ones for us weirdos

This was my first favorite and it is still winning for me but all the songs are almost same level for me so it's a little silly. Joy's last little bye. I feel like Joy would marry you - why not. Birthday was def not an instant bop for me, but now that i've listened to it more, i feel like it's doing its job. Love the album as always, the bsides are on point. I feel like aesthetically, visually etc. this album is Red, and full of redvelvet weirdness, however the song wasn't enough red for me, it's been a long while since we've had a very quircky red song imo, since maybe RBB. I really miss that, but i can't complain since they always release good music.

There bsides just keep getting better and the choruses were everything they honestly sounded more like title tracks then bsides this time racially on arose and bye bye
