@@themadsuika3909 Understand your feeling. I was the third smartest in the class and each day watching the other two destroy each other while the teacher was flustered was a blast.
@@dragonslayer7002 as just some guy in the background during school, looking at both the smartest people in the classroom gotta be one of the most badass moments where each try to prove and rebut eachother and ends in either a stalemate or one winning and being acknowledged by the other.
This fan art gives them a whole new personality. I can’t play this battle anymore without imagining Gold as a cocky Pokémon master bent on power, and Red as a silent sociopath who only wants to destroy anyone who stands before him.
Yea Red is a better trainer, his Pokémon battle skills rival that of Golds but Golds Pokémon battle skill is slightly better. Manga Red solos entire game verse
Gold: Hey, ran into a guy back in Kanto. He said to play this for you *Blue's Theme Plays* Red: ..... *This Theme Plays* Gold: Uhh, I think I just got set up... Meanwhile, back in Kanto, Blue cackling at putting one over the Jhoto Champ.
"Kid, no one _took_ that title from me. I gave it up. I reached the top, and the view got boring." "So, what, you think you can take it back at any point?" "I think it might be interesting watching you try to keep it."
@Wawawa "he taught me more about life" .... sad ... its really sad because u have no parents or other RL people who taught you that kind of knowledge?.... poor...
@@EwenVRC Red: Strongest Kanto trainer Gold:Strongest Johto trainer Ash: Looses against a lvl 5 starter with the pokemon he has trained through 5 regions.
@@thesnoms1492 one can reach The final peak In the mount of silver A trainer in Red awaits In solitude He waits and trains Against his power Many have fallen Against his will You stand firm His tittle is none His power unmatch Let me tell you kid Just been a champion will not suffice In the end's peak In the border of 2 Worlds The blizzard awakes As 2 pokemon roar The final battle has finally begun
This is still probably one of my favorite fan arts ever. It gives off this vibe from Gold saying "yeah, enjoy your last few moments at the top while you still can", and this vibe from Red saying "you really think some amateur even remotely has the right to so arrogantly challenge me? Please, know your place". I actually used Red here as my profile picture for some time. Such a good picture man, the artist definitely captured some great qualities.
Rising Raiden depends, if you're talking about the anime or the manga. I think he was even named Jimmy in one of the side series. And he's been known as Gold in the Manga. (At least he is in the Pokémon Adventures manga, that's the only one I read)
I'm just imagining how juicy a theme like that would be in a game. The game has all around pretty chill music, standard battle themes. Final boss pops up and the first few notes hit and you're like "All right, this is gonna be intense" and then 0:06 hits and you're shitting your pants.
A sudden storm. Gold halts his journey, hurriedly seeking shelter from the wind and rain in a nearby cave. He wrings his soaked jacket while catching his breath. This stormy night was here to stay. As he gathered himself and prepared to make camp in the cave, a cold chill raced down his spine. Gold was not alone. Instinctively swerving towards the abyssal darkness of the cave, he felt a presence approaching. The presence, it emitted an aura unlike any that Gold had ever experienced. As if paralyzed, the boy stood frozen in place as the presence grew nearer. Nearer. Nearer still. It came into view. As if emitting it's own light, the presence took the form of another boy. Eyes hidden beneath his hat, he ceased moving. Silence. With a shudder in his voice, Gold cautiously asks. "Who are you?" The boy raises his head, revealing eyes that shone a brilliant red. These eyes... Eyes that have seen 'em all, battled 'em all...caught 'em all... Without a word in response, Gold already knew who this boy with the aura of a monster was, and what he sought. As if in sync, they both reached for a Pokeball. It was going to be a long night.
I love the setting of this battle. As opposed to other Champions in their comfortable indoor arenas, you fight Red in a raging blizzard on the peak of the tallest and deadliest mountain between two regions. Hell, Red himself doesn't even have a title, going only by "Trainer". It shows you just how meaningless those things are. In the world of Pokemon, all that matters is becoming the very best. That's why Red doesn't talk to you before the battle. He knows that if you were like the rest, you wouldn't have made it this far.
Last part is actually a really good take. The silence was an indicator of two very strong trainers who respected one another. No words needed, just a battle.
Perfectly put. I love your description of this. Red's just so far beyond anyone else at that point in time, it wouldn't make sense for him to be anywhere else but the highest peak in the land, where a king sits. Yeah, everyone else is all UwU in their comfy arenas, and meanwhile this beast is just up there gazing down on his world. Love it
yep we also need a better trainer perhaps the best trainer, also known as red, who can be like one punch man looking for a trainer stronger than him, which most probably never happen jk it could be about what happens in the games and make somethings a bit more canon
Red: Wins champion in a Day. Then becomes God battling Gold. Ash: Took 20 years to win a championship that technically doesn’t count and is stuck as a child forever.
@@Endromination Orange League was a made up filler as a parallel to the Sevii Islands whereas the Alola League was a real region. I was really hoping they'd ditch Ash since he's accomplished what he set out to do but sadly he's in Galar now :/
Well logically speaking Unstoppable force=infinite momentum Unmovable object=infinite mass So in this scenario infinite momentum should punch a hole through the unmovable object
@@malcolmjenkins3585 nothing in this world has infinite mass or momentum , the closest example would be two black holes colliding but that's not very accurate
@@nishachoudhary4894 you took that way too literally. You realize we're still talking about pokemon right? He simply meant that these are two world class trainers finally fighting each other.
Gold looks overconfident, sure. But keep in mind he’s just finished wiping the floor with the only trainer to have ever truly challenged Red (Blue). He’s also just finished the job Red wasn’t thorough enough to do himself (extermination of team rocket). If anyone has the right to be confident whilst going to face Red, it’s him.
Red so thoroughly kicked team rocket’s ass that their mob boss straight up quitted and left their international crime syndicate so demoralized they didn’t pick back up any sort of momentum for three years, and once they did their big bad plan was taking over a radio tower just to try and reach out to their emasculated ex boss.
Yet fails to win league titles and literally devolves every time he sets foot into another region. While Red and Gold are considered Legends and the 2 Goats. Ok chief.
To be fair with Red's team you can probably beat any Pokemon Game and damn it, now I want one of these "cAn YoU bEaT pOkEmAnS GaEm WiTh ThIs TeAm?!?!?" videos.
Franz V. You really gonna tell me that nobody, NOBODY, has tried to get into reds pants before? Hell, I’m straight and am feeling a little flustered just looking reds face.
I like to imagine the piano is red, and the guitar is gold. And whichever one has the floor is who the battles favoring. Yes it does end with a piano note.
9yrs later and to whoever sees this which I doubt you will, just know that this still hits hard af in 2023 and this art gives me chills down my spine who so ever is the artist really knew what they were doing when the cooked up this master piece,it's just so epic I mean look at it you can feel the aura resonating from the both of them like the greatest Pokémon battle is about to go down in history. Ok I'll stop blabbering now I think you get the point.......................😩
The art with the music just speaks to you dosent it? It tells you about 2 of the most powerful trainers from their own respected regions they meet on top of a snowy mountain in the border between their regions and both of them are ready to battle it out in one of the most intense pokemon battles in history.
I love how Red was like in perfection in pokemon gold and you can feel the intense aura in the last fight(as gold) it's like fighting your old creation that you have perfected
the lore of these two legendary trainers is simply crazy imagine an anime about Red and Gold would be the most beautiful series of Ash's all put together
@Zandeel Remmington Games are the only canon... when you (the players) plays, you play for GOLD, making GOLD the winner of this match. Rememeber Satoshi himslef says none manga is canon, only games.
A tale of Red and Gold A tale of will and determination Against overwhelming odds With one pure Heart of Gold Brushing through obstacles To the peak of the world That clear as silver snow In the Mount of Silver peak A legend with a Soul of burns Red In solitude He stood Gazing what beneath He waits and trains Against his power Many have fallen Against his will Thou stand firm His tittle is none His power unmatch Let me tell you son Just been a Champion will not suffice In the end's peak of Ancient Tree Border by two World The bizzard awakes As two roar The ending has finally begun
People put these spins on the art of red being a sociopath and gold being a power driven arrogant newbie, but honestly I think it just captures that teen angst of "I'm gonna beat you and become the best" "Oh really? I'd like to see you try". They're just some teens enjoying a good battle.
When I first played soul silver when it came out (it was my first Pokemon game) I had no idea about red. I was just exploring one day and found some guy on top of the mountain. When I found him I was like "ohh! A new trainer to fight! Finally!" When I talked to red and all I got were dots and the epic music started, I was like "what have I done...." 3 of my Pokemon were fainted. Needless to say I got buttfucked. No matter how hard I tried I couldn't beat him. Took my 3 weeks of battling. When I finally did beat him, it made my year.
Really? I actually destroyed Red in my first try For example, my (lvl 48, i think?) Golem left Pikachu at red health with just one earthquake, Red pretty much used all of his full restores there... The only difficult one to defeat was Blastoise, probably because i didn't had any effective attacks against it
10 year old gods??? OBJECTIONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN RED IS 13 NOT 10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The end, I win the trial.
red: ... (I'm going to use the same theme song as yours) Lance: and people will think of me when they hear it, right Red: ... Lance: and people will think of me when they hear it, right?
Staring on in the cold of Mount Silver, you begin to see a shape, a figure of a person, getting closer, you realize this was the one moment all of your training had been amounting to, the forgotten champion stares back with a stern look in his eye as he reaches for a pokéball. They always say actions speak louder than words, lets see what you have to say. *Trainer Red wants to battle*
"There is a place, far from here, beyond the Indigo Plateau, beyond the civilization we humans have built, where only the most dangerous Pokemon roam, all but the strongest and bravest avoid it, and even some of them rarely return. Their wild and savage nature best all but the mightiest. But it is said that those who survive the journey will come face to face with a mountain, a mountain upon which the peak pierces the sky. A mountain that goes on for what seems like an eternity and at its summit, he waits. He waits for those worthy enough merely to face him. He waits for those who dare believe they are flawless, only to be taught how mistaken they have been. He humbles those who believe that just because they have bested the gyms, they are untouchable. He shows those who have attained the title of champion how empty that title is. His name is Red. And he does not lose." - Blue Edit: Holy balls almighty. That's a lot of likes. Thank you guys, I really appreciate it! Writing is a passion of mine so to see so many likes on a little fanpeice I made makes me smile. I really appreciate it! Thank you! 😊
That was an Amazing description brother. and Fyi the person who said he lost to gold. He never lost to Gold. Thats you the player. Gold never actually Fights red in manga.
gold: the kid who went through the hard stuff then destroyed the easy challenges and thinks he's good because they were so easy. red: the guy who went through all the hardships then went to live on a mountain and did nothing but train. ash: the kid who got given a completed pokedex, doesn't evolve his pokemon and can't go through a single region without most of his badges being handed to him.
Sad that now you don’t get this excitement when you’re playing the Pokémon games of today the themes from Kanto and Johto were just soo amazing and filled with soo much emotion that you would actually imagine yourself facing red along with your Pokémon team
Red: The fire in your eyes... I remember it well. When I was your age, I dreamed of becoming the strongest Pokemon trainer in the world... Gold: and what happened? Red: ... I succeed.
I can sweep your teem i got a level 100 tortara and level 100 lugia and level 100 charizard level 100 jolteon level 100 level 100 dragonite level 100 ho oh nobody can beat me i also beat red
@@yourlocalderp5812 Other people would say Otherwise, and first off it isn't suppose to be deep, So I don't know why would you even bother to care, when I wasn't directing this to you.
I always loved the fan interpretation that Red went to Mt Silver due to being simply bored once he obtained his peak simply believing that he had no where else to go. Which I then usually Segway into head canoning Gold as the opposite, he's eager determined and still hungry to prove he's the best eager for a challenge and to put some fight back into the retired legend The fight is intense the two entering a dance of trading KO's with one another until only their partners remain leaving a balzing confrontation between Typhlosion and Charizard standing they both rear back and let loose their flames melting the snow of the peak of the mountain. The smoke clears leaving both fire types standing as Tyhplosion stumbles forward but catches himself and stands back up as Charizard teters and falls down onto his face. Red was every bit just as powerful as Gold if not lore so but he lacked the drive he once had that unwavering will to stare any challenge down without backing down amd because of him lacking it while Gold possessed a will that was unbreakable in all regards Gold could push onward that final inch to claim a victory when it mattered most. Red is floored after so long he lost. An outcome he never even once viewed as possible was now reality he realizes his flaws in thinking and grows desiring to find new challenges elsewhere he heals his pokemon before climbing back ontop of Charizard turns to Gold and vows to find him once again to have a rematch
Ender Lucian Well they do speak in the Anime and Manga adaptations. In the game no dialogue was added cause Red was suppose to be the player him/herself. And plus the story continues on its main path dialogue or not.
When you read pokemon manga/adventure/special you know you can't really compare these two. Both are amazing and both have fuck up story one way or another on their journey. Best pokemon story writing that will never get animated and a few will know its existence
GOLD is like "the so called legendary trainer red, eh, when i'll deafeat you i'd proof that I am the best trainer" And red just "bro wtf i just took my tortank for a walk"
