These remind me a lot of my Clark’s desert boots in bees wax leather. In fact it’s the only reason I didn’t pick them up. I think I might go for the Chelsea weekender instead however. 😊
Great video!! I am in process of buying these but in terms of sizing, could you please advice me, i am wearing in the Iron Ranger number 11 (usa), in the Weekender what should i choose?
I have these same weekender chukkas and I liked the leather so much I also bought the Chelsea weekender version. The fit is very different between these two boots. While the chukka is roomy on me, the Chelsea was really tight, especially at the instep. They're both size 9D but fit very differently. Do you think you'll be getting the Chelsea too?
My cobbler had no trouble replacing the sole he just sliced off the old one and glued a new one straight onto the midsole , that new one is wearing out real fast also and that’s a vibram sole, it’s just the nature of that material they use.
I had the Work Chukka before but the 210 last just doesn't work for my feet. A bit too narrow in the toe unfortunately. I like that they have the leather insole though. Tough choice!
I wear them true to size and find the fit is great that way but I have wider feet so may not be the best comparison (I am a 9E/EE brannock and wear a 9D in these 👍
In my opinion, they are definitely worth it. Quality of the materials and construction are better and I like the design better. Just my thoughts though:)
