In skilled hands such as this talented group, I reckon there are many instruments that could sound funky - in fact, probably even things not normally considered instruments!

Wow! For years now, you guys always seem to surprise and amaze me. Never would have guessed a banjo could have worked in a funk version of anything and imo, not only did it work, it added such a beautiful and unique component to the sing and his playing isn't too shabby. ;).
