After months and months of consistent work, Redcap the Riekling's HUGE v1.2.0 update is here, and with it two original quests with epic rewards, wereboars, a new transformation mechanic, a new armor set, full commentary + a new ending for Ill Met By Moonlight, a ton of lore pulled straight from The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, and follower interactions with Xelzaz the Argonian Telvanni Follower by BluePwnsU! With around 600 lines of new dialogue, new voice-acted NPC's, an epic boss battle, and new mechanics and features, this is Redcap's biggest content update yet.

One of the reasons Skyrim AE: The Immersive Playthrough is on hold is to make sure Redcap and some of his upcoming follower interactions can be properly integrated! I have a bunch of playthrough plans I have just been extremely busy working on mod content of late.

How do you start the quest ?

Which quest? The Bloodmoon update added two new original quests on top of the several Redcap quests that existed before the update. There's a list of all of his quests and any requirements to start them on the mod page on Nexus. To start the Bloodmoon quests you need to have completed The Hands of Fate and Ill Met By Moonlight.

The tone of voce for the Argonian just doesnt fit. They got no lips and a bigger mouth, Its why they talk so guttural. But this does look mighty interesting

Xelzaz, the Argonian follower in the video, is a separate (very well-made and quite popular) mod follower. His voice is a conscious choice by the mod author as Xelzaz learned Cyrodiilic from the Telvanni he spent most of his life with. With this update Redcap and Xelzaz have hundreds of lines of interactions between them if you have them both installed, but the interactions are not part of Redcap's new Bloodmoon content or quests, so Xelzaz is not required to experience the new Redcap Bloodmoon content. However, I highly recommend Xelzaz as a mod and as a great complement to Redcap, as their interactions add a lot to both of their characters.
