I've got the Monte Carlo lowrider with 26ers and had to cut some of the rear chassis out, just a little bit wider than the tires and little bit to allow the length of the rim and had to adjust the endpoints so the tire won't hit the servo horns
I bought these rims from red cat a few days ago. I was hoping to put them on my Monte Carlo without doing any tampering. I’m not one who likes to tamper too much. I was hoping I could just screw these on if that is not the case these may be for sale, unless if I could use them on another car, but I definitely don’t wanna cut some body frames, etc. I’ll mess it all up
You know I haven't tried them on the monte yet. But I will to see what can be done. But surely try them on other rc's like the blazers .you could try lowering it with shorter shocks or something like that. Many other possibilities by trying them. But I'm definitely go ih ng to try them on the monte. I've seen other videos where someone did put them on the monte but I didnt ask any questions about it
@@redwolfrc1.14 OK very cool. I already have the Monty here with the wheels so I may try it myself. I’m just not very good at the mechanics. I’ve only been in the hobby for a few months since June 15 to be exact so I don’t like messing things unless I know for sure I just assumed I could put them on without any work, because when you buy them, it tells you the cars that they’re compatible with and Monty was one of them. I’ll keep checking to see if you post anything and if I try them and get them to work I’ll post something as well. I’m the type of person that makes 1000 videos but I never upload them. That is why I only uploaded two shorts with all the cars I picked up in the last two months, but I will get better. At least I’ll try lol
