I ordered me two pairs of True 13’s on Jan 27 and they will be here tomorrow. So hurt red-cat was sold out but spoke to John from sales and he was like they were going to be back on the way after the start of the month.
Got my set of gold jevries today. Wondered about the redcat Daytons. I likely would not get any after seeing that they are not a scaled version of a 13. They are too small. On my real lowriders I generally run 14s, because I don't like a lot of fender gap. I used to run 13s for years, but got tired of looking at them. On my 70 I'm running stock 15 inch wheels with the smallest 15 whitewall. Still laying frame and wheels fill the fenders
It’s cool to have a couple of options available now… size and fit affect the overall look of the car. Real 13” wheels look “small” on almost any car… but so badass. “Training Day” Monte has 14s… they look perfect on that car
To be honest with you I like the Redcat ones better the tires are smaller and sore the wheels if you're looking for that lowrider slam down to the ground look which I love
The true 13 are not in stock. Should i wait or should i get the Dayton? What you do you think? Btw i just slammed the 26s on the fifty-nine.. looks so fresh bro
Nice! If your like me, you will get both eventually. There are things I like about both, but the True 13s seem a little nicer quality to me. The Daytons are narrower though, and fit with less clearance issues, especially the rear fender of the Fiftynine and Sixtyfour. I also like Jevries gold way better than Redcat gold finish. The knock offs DO work on either wheel. The bullet style is the only one that doesn’t really fit… it’s too fat. Jevries are just a bit longer than the Daytons but they work. The Daytons should have come with 4 sets of knock offs… maybe you have some hiding in the box?
The straight laced have straight spokes, like Daytons. The x laced have spokes that cross over each other, like Zenith wheels. thanks for checking it out!
Sweet @richricks78 wish I had a Fiftynine coming my way! The Jevries Edition Fiftynine came with x laced wheels, cool classic styling. The strait laced are cool too, a little more modern/ edgy style. Thanks for watching and commenting bro!
