Yeah, I had the original one and once you ditch the axles, you wonder "should I had just bought a 10-2?" Or just built up around quality axles and never looked back?

The first gen Ascent is still $100 cheaper and for some people that's a big deal. BUT, I agree, shit timing with the release of the Fusion. They should have been more transparent so, yeah, I think most people are pretty pissed! 😡

I seem to have ended up with better axles installed, without the set screw and it's falling out problem, the pins are pressed in. I also ordered the one piece pinion, that will e3ven more peace of mind. Those two issues seem a bit cheapo on RC's part, but boy can this thing crawl.
