Redd Foxx was sharp! Me and my mom was just watching an episode of _The Royal Family_ (prayers to Naya Rivera and her family) and his _True Hollywood Story_ two days ago. She always remarked that his fashion style was on point! Definitely ahead of his time. #RIPReddFoxx

The real star here was Redd Foxx. However, he appears here on a poorly written and stereotypical variety show.

Redd was pushin' it in his routine..lmfao..all he needed was the cigarette. Nowadays..the writers would soil in their pants with the don't hurt my feelings PC era. In fact, most of your great sitcoms would never exist in today's watered down generation. Martin was the last to get a good one in. Bernie Mac took the Cosby route in his series which was wise. Peep those roast sessions back in the day..if Don Rickles got invited..it was a rap. Rickles purposely hurt feelings.
