When it comes to dealing with gore, and utterly truly unsettling footage, people react differently, I think James's laughing it normal, because that's how he deals with it. It's not that he's messed up or anything, it's just how he accepts without it fully messing him up, like a mental defense mechanism. We all remember a certain no-named man who was giggling while being Swatted on Twitch, people have coping mechanisms that try to ensure how they deal with the situation rather than react instantly without logic or common sense.
