body's weird like that, throw up once and it will associate it with what you just ate, even if it couldn't possibly have been the cause. been friends with a dude since we were kids who instant gags if normal milk enters his mouth because he threw up after drinking some. The milk wasn't bad, I had a glass from the same gallon not 5 minutes earlier, it's because he ate a burrito that had been laying in 80 degree heat for like 6 hours. he can drink any other kind of milk, but because he threw up right after drinking some ordinary ass milk, he's literally incapable of drinking it now. probably the same thing with zach, ate something with egg in it and then threw up and the rest is history.
@oktalley99 love and grief aren't experienced and displayed the same way everywhere. If my family stopped laughing at me after I was gone then I'd say they were letting my memory go cold. Because they know damn well I'll give their memory shit when they're gone because its how we connect

My brother passed away in a car wreck about two months ago, and seeing you and your brother do stupid stuff like this reminds me of all the stupid stuff we used to do together.
I know it’s still hard right now, and it will be for some time. Eventually though you’ll be at peace knowing you have those memories with him during his time on earth. Heck, you might even meet him again someday who knows.

theres a super secret method to doing the yams in the microwave that works really well, you wrap them in wet papertowels, like the cheap ass brown ones, then you put them in on high for 6 minutes then take them out and rewet the papertowels and put them in till theyre hella soft, then afterwards you cut them in half and scoop out the yams, and bam mashed yams done easily
holidays have always been hard in my family but they got worse when my dad died. the thanksgiving/christmas season is difficult for me because i still expect to see my dad and pop but they're not and the space they left behind hurts. thanks for making the holiday season a little brighter this year :)
