super excited to share this video and kick off my "decorate with me" series as i give my nyc studio apartment a whole new ~look~. in episode 1, i'm taking you through a bit of my "process," spaces that have been inspiring me lately, and how i use photoshop to create a moodboard, color palette, and initial plan.
in future episodes, i'll be bringing you guys decor thrifting and more in-depth furniture shopping, sharing all my new DIYs, and of course doing the final reveal (whenever that actually happens :)). hope this gives you some tips or inspiration if you're planning to decorate our own space!

I like both the white and pink curtains. I'd go with the pink. Your white walls look better with the pink, in my opinion. Love your channel! !

First Ikea white curtains, add a trim to the edges that come together and it will elevate them to a very sophisticated, high-end look. Add the color in the trim, not in the actual curtain color.

Omg I love this!! I remember watching your apartment tour when it came out and I was lowkey obsessed with the green rug and high key obsessed with the treat yo self sign 😂 I live on Long Island and go to the city all the time I’ll totally buy that sign from you!! But in continuation with this series, you should definitely do videos like “come apartment shopping with me” and vlog your experience shopping at ikea, vintage/thrift stores and flea markets. I’m so excited to see what your apartment will look like in the future! ❤️

So what I can see you like vintage 70’s inspired eclectic decor (that’s my guessing) I think you should pick the colors of the rug as focal point and use them as accent colors throughout the apt, make sure you used a lot of different parents and textures ( obviously using the colors of your focal point) I’m an interior design student as well. Overall all you have a cool style, very different and that’s the beauty of designing there’s no right of wrong.

I like the pink curtains. But I like using bold colors. When I did my space I went for black, white and grey. Everything was so natural I hated it. I ended up buying gold drapes and at first I was scared that I made the wrong impulsive choice but now it absolutely love it. It goes well with dark green plants and black accents. I got my drapes from ikea too.

You can get a double curtain rod and have the solid white and the sheer pink ones.

I’m definitely excited for this series! I’m trying to find my own kind of style for everything in general and it’s really fun to see what other people do. Everything from your interior design to your clothing feels very you and that’s what I want to do with my own style eventually.

Pink curtains definitely! The duvet cover is all ready white so a think a pop of color block would look perfect on the window and match de playfull asthetic.

Ooh, yes, I totally see where you're going with your moodboard! (I'm in the process of decorating my space after a recent move, so this helping a lot. Also, I scope Craigslist/OfferUp a little too much, using what I like there to gauge the style and vibe I want to go for.)

Also I like the white curtains, but I also like the pink. Since you live alone you can really play up the feminine vibe ❤️ you could Possibly dip dye your white curtains and do anAmbré effect, but I’m not sure if that’s passé at this time or not. I LOVE Ambré myself but haven’t used it in my own home yet.
