90 minutes of audiophile metal detecting experience with XP DEUS during an awesome relic hunt at previous “silver spot”. I decided not to quit this wonderful hobby, return to the silver forest and face my demons. The goal was simple and yet pretty ambitious - no mistakes!
I came better prepared this time. I switches the speaker from my last hunt and replaced it with another model that served me well over the years. It worked, I was very pleased with the audio, which probably had an impact on the recovery of some finds. The speaker was smaller but the audio had more nuances. Since audio is king, that’s the right way to go.
I was able to make a few very nice finds from the 1600-1700’s era that day. A thimble, buttons and a thin, old silver coin, this time in one piece! But the highlight for me came in form of an artefact that resembles a small (“Egyptian”) figurine. It could be very old, like “Roman old”.
After 7 GPS worthy items I decided to quit as the metal detecting Gods were very generous to me. Can we call it redemption?
