Actually, in this concept their not vampires but fallen angels! The lyrics even say “fallen angel, is my name”. They also talk about their uncontrollable instincts (like lust and desire), so for all their “desires” to become theirs they say “I turned my back on paradise”. Also, If you look closely you can see angels wings appearing throughout the video. The video has a lot of contrast between dark/ light and black/ white (including their outfits), like how their walking outside in the light then fall down the hole into a dark room. Representing the duality of good/ bad (or white/ light for angels and dark room/ black clothes to show how they’ve “fallen”). But I love your reactions! I agree about the video being nicely shot. I love dark concepts (I mean I also like colourful/ happy songs), but dark concepts are my favourite, they just hit different! This is definitely one of my fav The Boyz songs, along with stealer and maverick.

Yesss. Roar is a continuation from Whisper bc of the whistle as the end of the whisper mv. The idea of whisper is that they broke the rule of not falling in love with human (the heard the whistle of TheB and tried to follow them out the heaven) Roar is them falling from heaven and being set free from “paradise” but them claiming their freedom and being like who decides what is evil, which is a lyric of the song at the beginning. You can see a falling angel more at the end of the mv. One thing through the mv is when they were pulling yellow tags of their ear like cattle tag that we would use for our herds (yellow tags were also on the shoes at the start as well). Them pulling of the yellow tag off is like them throwing away the symbol of them being tamed/owned, and showing that they r declaring freedom, they are choosing their own path-also mention in the lyric of the song.

LEGENDARYY! this is their biggest comeback so far, the music video and the song in general were crazy if y'all checking out the dance practice PLEASE do the "(fix ver.)" cause it shows the choreo better
