I'd love it if Tears of the Kingdom had "side quest" bosses where you have to utilize more creativity using Link's items, like Aklo demonstrates here. We kinda got that with the Lynels, but not really.
Let's be honest, crowd wouldn't be nearly as hype were it not for the Link. The general populace is tired of seeing the same characters over and over. That's why Project + is so hype, but it'll never get the attention it deserves thanks to Nintendo.
I love this Deadass Finals particularly because it was actually close and Kodorin really was killin it, so Aklo coming out on top in his home town when it’s truly down to the wire makes it all so poetic. The fact these two made it over Cody and Zain…magnificent
Best timeline. Melee becoming more technical and fast paced every year meaning that low/mid tiers becoming viable again.....Aklo had fucking swag this set
This was / is an exciting set. The mid tier Adult hero of time has won a grand tournament of the new year. These are fantastic close matches to watch. Fantastic matches for him.

It’s an insanely hard SDI into the ground that works super well for Link because he has the best of both worlds for it; he’s very heavy and also has a very high falling speed. It’s called an Amsa tech because Amsa pioneered it and Yoshi can also do it very well. Link may actually be the best character in the entire game for it though

Yes, it’s called an Amsa tech, and the reason he can do it so well is because Link double dips on downward movement. He is heavy and also has high gravity so he gets a very good down angle on DI. It’s kind of crazy that one of Link’s biggest weaknesses as a character also can be one of his greatest strengths
