As much I definitely agree with u, I doubt it'll ever happen... despite them don't want her to take Peach's Spotlight, they'll do anyhting to ruin it, she shouldn't be Peach's Echo Fighter in the 1st Place
I love this moveset concept for *Daisy* I always thought that if she'd be added her moveset would pull a lot from the Mario Sports games but due to her being *Peach's Echo* we never got to see that in Ultimate
Thanks, glad you enjoyed the redesign! Yeah, I'm glad Daisy made it into the game in the end, but it's a shame her moveset didn't really represent her appearances in the Mario sports games
I love the direction you took with Ganondaisy here, chum. The Mario Hoops recovery is perfect, and I love the idea of giving her Super Mario Land references with the Superballs and Tatanga! 🥳
Her entrance animation should totally be her coming out of a pipe and hitting a block afterwards, which is commonly what happens after coming out of a pipe in Mario Land

thank you for this!!! absolutely adore this idea, and as a #1 daisy fan, i’ve also wondered what it would be like~~ i only take “issue” with 2 things 1) i think instead of ice crystals, it could be sandstones; to better help go with the idea of sarasaland! 2) the idea for the alt costumes is phenomenal, but i would have daisy in her classic “original” design (yellow and white), then her classic modern design~ i’d also love to see peach with the same fixings.
I think now that Mario wonder had come out. If they wanna leave the rest of the characters somewhat the same. They could make Daisy represent wonder, and leach represent showtime (and that 3ds game she had maybe)
If you declone the Belmonts, you should probably give more moves to Simon, as most of their moveset is Richter's from SOTN. Though I suppose it might be best to split the moves up since Richter has a few Simon-exclusives. Maybe change up the sub-weapons too, just for variety.
Decloning the Belmonts I think is kinda tricky. Their movesets were designed with one another in mind, with Sakurai even commenting on Simon potentially being the echo of Richter back in August 2018. I think your best bet is to make their specials a bit different. Richter would use the Dagger as his side special, functioning similar to something like a Lucas PK Fire, while his down special would be his Holy Water from Rondo and SotN, a single hit fire pillar that travels forward along the ground. Maybe make Richter's whip moves a bit weaker, but slightly increase his ground speed and increase the power of his kicks and dash attack, since they were his at first
I feel like my immediate issues with these specials is they kinda turn Daisy into a zoner? Like she gets two projectiles, a better version of dimensional cape and a servicable but not great recovery? Yeah that sounds pretty zonery to me. And among the Mario Princesses I'd imagine her easily best suited to being rushdown with her focus on athletic appearances and generally more "outgoing" personality.
It's all great, except the Final Smash doesn't make sense from a lore standpoint. Why would Tatanga come to assist Daisy? What if she flew that little ship Mario used instead?
That's fair, that something I considered, but Mario's ship, seems a tad too small for a final smash. Maybe she could be the one piloting Tatanga's ship instead!
@@Fobb Ah, yeah, that makes sense. I suppose even the small sized final smashes have amazing speed, a few friends (or a few hundred yoshis), or lead into an impressive fury/slam into the stage. A simple volley of fire from the small ship might feel underwhelming compared to all the large sizes and speed and chain attacks it's up against. I like the idea of Daisy just yoinking the ship for herself. Maybe that's how she gets to the mushroom kingdom so quickly the moment a sporting event, kart race, or party is posted on Mario social media.

For final smash i thought about it being a complete transformation of the stage a mario land water stage where she uses the marine pop to fight the opponents ehile they're swimming+for her up special i thought about her summoning a goomba and spin jumping on top of him to refrence super mario run
Daisy has always been a disappointment for me. I always have wanted to give her a Sora-esque spin to her neutral by having her pull out an enemy from each world in SML1. A Gao, which has the same range and hitbox size as Toad's spores, but lacks the mushroom effects (fire damage instead), a Honen which deals sword damage and has a sweet spot at the ribs of the fish, a Batadon which acts as a short uppercut, with the main head having strong launching power while the wings can be used for chip damage. Finally a Pompon Flower, which shoots a pollen puff straight forward that deals poison damage and has the chance to give the target the flowered status.
Btw Gao are the small sphinx enemies in 1-3, the honen are the jumping fish, the Batadon are the winged moai heads, and the Pompon Flowers are the pollen spitting enemies from 4-2.
(Too much text warning!!) I'd not give her a moveset based on sport games, I'd keep that for Waluigi. I'd give here some "less femenine" attacks and some of Peach's moves that changed in Brawl to Smash 4 transition. Definitely she should to have a triple jump instead of floating, and should to be slightly heavier, faster and stronger than Peach. *Standard attacks:* *Neutral attack:* Two punches instead of slaps. *Dash attack:* A simple thrust. Similar to Peach's, but hits once and doesn't have Magic effect. *Up Tilt:* A jump punch, similar to her animation from Mario Party games when hits the dice. *Down Tilt:* Peach's hand sweep from Melee/Brawl would return, leaving the low kick for Daisy. *Back Air:* Kicks the opponent instead of hit them with her rear. *Up Air:* An upwards kick (Peach's Up Air in Melee and Brawl) *Down Air:* A single one-footed stomp like Zelda's Down Air (Spike effect included). *Smash Attack:* Just replace the frying pan with a hammer or a baseball bat. *Down Smash:* Kicks in both direction, similar to Captain Falcon or Snake's Down Smash. *Pummel:* Toad is completely removed, Daisy grabs with one hand and hits with the another one. *Forward Throw:* Slaps the opponent *Back Throw:* A Spinning Throw like Mario's. Also, it's a nod to the hammer throw event from Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games. *Down Throw:* Stomps the opponent with her rear. *Specials:* *Neutral:* A counter but involving a Piranha Plant bitting the opponent instead of a Toad spitting spores. A reference to Piranha Plant's item status in Mario Kart 8. *Side B:* Daisy Bomber has more endlag and shorter range than Peach Bomber, but deals more damage and knockback. *Up B:* Daisy Parasol remains the same, but Daisy falls faster than Peach. *Down B:* Instead of turnips, Daisy plucks carrots from Super Mario Land 2 (just an aesthetic change). The true change is the chance of getting Fire Flowers instead of Mr.Saturns). *Final Smash:* Daisy Blossom stills sleeping the opponents, but now also inflicts the flower status in the opponents. The giant edible flowers are removed.
lol daisy shouldn't be like ganon now come on. I understand daisy is energetic but I don't think she should be too op. Daisy should stay in her dress because what you put are mods. if no other character can change outfits neither can she.
I swear you "male" fans blow daisy personality out of proportion. This version of daisy is too op to be honest I understand she could've had something that peach doesn't but this is overboard. also again you can't just change outfits only colors
