And because I know people are going to comment on it, yes, I know that Knuckles is already in Smash as an Assist Trophy. If you watch the video before commenting, you'll see that I bring that up in the video. "What If *** was in Smash" is just a better title that roles off the tongue when compared to "What If *** was Playable in Smash" or What If *** was a Fighter in Smash* I prefer the shorter title that I have, and I'm fairly certain most people know what I'm talking about without the extra words.
BrawlFan1 these movesets are amazing! Just asking when are we getting more Undertale characters. My previous comment on this video described an idea for Mettaton. It would be cool if you made Nabstablook(Dummy as alt) and Muffet as Echo Fighter Moveset to.
This gives me an idea for the trailer: Sonic enters a match and realizes he's the only one on stage, which makes him confused. He then shrugs whiie saying "Okay." and prepares to leave, but the second he says "okay", SA2's version of Unknown from M.E. plays at full blast and Knuckles comes out of the ground, startling Sonic. Knux notices he scared him and chuckles, saying "I scared ya, didn't I?". The splash screen then reads "Knuckles chuckles and flexes his muscles!" After some of his moves and Final Smash have been showcased, the duo prepares to rumble, charging towards each other, ending the trailer
most stages do have walls, there are only 3 non-walk-offs that i know of that don't (not counting transitions), and a few walk offs have walls. to give you an idea, those stages are halberd, mario circuit, and delfino plaza. i don't count walk offs because the special is already for horizontal recovery, and is great on walk offs anyway. even final destination has walls.
even if limited or with some start lag, it's free recovery, and most characters couldn't really punish that before it gets to ledge, so it would be so easy to recover that it wouldn't be fun to play as most other characters against knuckles, especially you could wall jump out of it
@@Madcat56 ok how about if they make his vertical recovery really poor? Like DK? That would hinder his off-stage game as well as make his recovery predictable since all he can do is glide. There must be a possible way to balance wall climbing. It's a big part of his character and it would be such a shame to leave it out of his moveset
Yeah. I once saw a moveset on Twitter which was awesome, so I would also want to see BrawlFan1 take on it. Madeline is one of the high third parties I would want in Smash alongside Shantae, Dr. Eggman and Monokuma.
I like this moveset, though I would like to propose wall-climbing as an alternate Up Special that triggers when he's in his wall-cling state. I think it could still fit into his playstyle if it was a single, rapid wallclimb that quickly brings him up to the ledge, so that it doesn't encourage players to camp by climbing up and down walls. We could also discourage camping by only letting the player use it once until they touch the ground again (otherwise, the input will trigger a rising uppercut, even if the player is clinging to a wall). For cases where he doesn't reach a ledge (e.g. he encounters an overhang, or climbs for more than a second on the infinite wall on Shadow Moses), it would just trigger freefall. An unlimited wallclimb would obviously be overpowered and exploitable, but I think he needs some variant of the move to feel like the complete Knuckles package.

Great work on the move set, as always: I could believe this being a possible move set of Knuckles were to be included in Smash, and it sounded fun to play, too. As far as suggestions go, I think it’d be interesting to see what one of the Contestants from Dicey Dungeons could do in Smash Bros.
Rajang from monster hunter "Rajang carts the competition" The intro cutscene shows link and ganon on a stage fighting rathalos. Suddenly, a roar rings out from the forest. Rajang launches out of the trees, grabbing rathalos by the tail and slamming it a few times, before throwing them off the stage. Rajangs turns back just before ganon releases his punch. There's a cloud of smoke, and when it clears, rajang's blocked the attack, smiles, and throws ganondorf off the edge. He looks back at link, and jumps at him, and the screen shows "Rajang carts the competition"
I have an idea for a spinoff of these moveset videos. What if you tried to remake old characters movesets that aren’t really up to date? Characters like Mario, Donkey Kong, Bowser, Ganondorf and Samus could use an update to represent their more modern games more accurately.
Chip Potato There’s nothing wrong with representing old games. It’s just that characters like Mario and Samus have so much more material to base movesets on. Samus has the prime trilogy and Mario could use Cappy. And then there’s Donkey Kong. His moveset is mostly based on a real gorilla instead of his games.

a better idea for knuckles options while down special is active would be to use up special and knuckles would use the fire from the punch to form a mini volcano which if it hits an enemy it will deal massive damage and knock back and will be very similar to Luigi's up special and will also have lots of end lag so this option is a very high risk high reward option (also i love your content and ive just been going through the playlist and its hella awsome man keep up the good work)

YES! Thank you SO much for doing knuckles man. He is one of my favorite sonic characters right along the rest of team sonic and eggman. In fact, your moveset was really close to my moveset. And even though it's different, I love your final smash idea. So unique! I'd say, you did an excellent job with this moveset. So how about doing toad sometime? Again, regular toad, not just captain.
Me and bj have brainstorned mh a lot. I thought it would be neat giving them an incentory of tools, potions, and traps you can cycle through but have limited uses that only refill on ko. He hasnt decided on that, or just picking a few and setting one per special attack. (Like in mine they could have both pitfall and lightning traps that bury or stun, but you only get 2 or 3 of each. His he would just put pitfall on like down b) He did like the idea of needing to sharpen to keep up higher than average damage, or not sharpening and after a number of attacks your damage drops below average.
@@DarthZ01 the idea is cool but I think that the inventory of the hunter be just a down b in the style of the hero, he select by holding the b bottom and use the stick to select and he will use the item by just pressing the down b
@@DarthZ01 and I think a good gimmick could be that his neutral b when used into an normal attack he would strike with a combo using the weapon that he has in hand, for exemple if his donw smash is using the hammer he will borrow the use the big bang combo, ect...
Neku (maybe with Shiki) from The World Ends With You! I see this game as the best handheld game of all time, and think you can really go all out with a moveset.
You know, I've heard people suggest Knuckles for years now, and I never understood how he could be interesting whatsoever. I felt like he'd just be a generic brawler, which seemed repetitive when put next to Ryu, Terry, etc. But you changed my mind completely! I always appreciate the way you present these characters, and put so much heart and effort into each moveset's creativity. The Sonic fanboy in me is super happy now. I would love to see how you could do Cream one day, since her partnership with Cheese could be interesting (albeit Rosalina and Luma-esque)! If not her, then Amy or the Chaotix could be a blast, too!

@@BrawlFan1 yeah, but I feel like there should be a representative for the Pokemon Mystery dungeon franchise, and unless you do Emolga, Dunsparce, or Virizion from Gates to Infinity, Grovyle's really the only major enough character, since the main character and the partner are different for each player. Besides, between the items unique to PMD (orbs, gravelerocks, spikes), Grovyle's reputation as a cunning and overwhelming fighter, and his most important move being Dig, I think you could figure something out. I wouldn't be opposed to the characters from Gates to Infinity appearing, though.
(sorry for poor spelling. btw maybe spoilers for deltarune) i have a some-what out there idea "What if the thrash machine was in smash". For context, the thrash machine is from a part in deltarune where lancer and suzie, after teaming up against you, make you make a plan for a machine to be built to ,in there words, "thrash your own ass".you are then thrown into a sort of create your character screen where you select the head,body,and shoe/foot that will make up the machine (even selecting the color of the parts).the head section has a selection of:laser (which gives cool and guns),sword (which gives elegant points and lively points),flame (which gives cute points and hot points) and duck (which gives no points and has a discription of "garbage. You're going to lose points).The body section has a selection of:Plain (which gives elegant points and cute points),Wheel (which gives lively points and cool points),tank (which gives hot points and guns points) and duck (with a discription of "just looking at this is making you lose points").Finally, the shoe section has a selection of:Sneak (which gives lively and cute points),A.whl (wheels) (which gives you hot points and cool points),tread (which gives you elegant points and guns points), and finally duck (with a description of just simply "you're going to lose points"). those points (or lack there of) mean apsolutly nothing except different diolog after completion of the machine but maybe you could work them into there gimmick. after you finish building the machine and hit "END" susie apeares out of a bush,exchanges words, and than runs of with lancer.after escaping the forest maze, you come across the machine you built and its ... worse than the preview in the creation menu (unless it's the duck in which case it will be exactly like in the menu). eventualy susie and lancer blowup the machine and say that it sucked so they decided to blow it up. i already thought of some ideas but i will only share one and than leave the rest to you, i think the the player will start off as the duck set but almost every move will tranceform different parts of the body to the different body parts from the character creator. (SORRY FOR THE LONG READ)
Actually no. He doesn't look at any movesets so he doesn't feel like he's stealing ideas. Anything that's similar to another moveset is simply a coincidence.
0:56 THERE I AM GARY THERE I AM I actually made my own Smash moveset for Knuckles on the Smash Amino. Many of the attacks you used and almost exactly like mine! Despite my Knuckles having a Spin Dash instead of a boulder, the two share frightening identical moves. The Final Smash is unique though, involving Super Knuckles delivering a powerful smackdown on the opponent. Also I gave him an alternative costume where he wears his OVA Hat. I'll link it if I can!

He might be light, but his punches can match the heaviest of heavyweights." Snake: "Still, he seems really gullible. Probably won't take much to outwit him..."
This is just a suggestion but it would be cool if, at the end of each segment of moves, (tilts, specials, smashes, etc.) Youd show a diagram of what all of them are before moving to the next segment so that people can remember them more easily. ☺
I’m not even a big Sonic fan, but I think seeing Knuckles/Tails/Shadow/Amy would be super cool! And I love how you described his fighting style, a true glass cannon... super interesting

I guess I started requesting at ep 31. But I’ve been re-requesting mostly to get people hyped for these characters. Last week I listed my first 7 characters with their home stages.( twas a little long.) This week I did the original 7’s + 5 more with their ledge get up attacks.
