Thanks Dug!! One of those PM trips where the fish are stacked up in a few places.....It gets pretty lively when you find the bite at that level.....Sea Ya!!
Thanks Fredo!! The Refuge is quite a place to have access to and some times the fishing can be reel good during the transitions.....Enjoy your weekend!!
Thanks Capitan!! In total the Wildlife Refuge is about 160 sq. miles of Gulf Coast wilderness here in Florida.....The scenery and fishing are outstanding.....Have a great week!!
That looks like some skinny water you had to ride through to get there. I imagine the tide plays a big role of when you can go and not go. Nice tugs with the redfish.
Thanks!! The tides are the only thing that stop you from taking your lower unit off down here....This skinny water is no more than a lime rock nightmare....But when you figure out the water depth the fishin' is usually pretty good....Good to here from you.....Sea Ya!!
Thanks Nick!! I've been so focused on this new motor I haven't bothered with the outside....I think that all changes this PM.....Thanks for the tip and have a great weekend!!
Thanks Rob!! I'm an expert at running the creeks....If I screw up I've got miles of poling just to get back to civilization.....LOL....Have a great weekend!!
Beautiful fishing🎣🎣🎣🎣🐟🐟🐟👍🏻cool, very pleasant trip, beautiful place, extraordinary, good video, I enjoyed this video, happy prosperity, success and truth always for you, Amen, thank you, my dear friend, for sharing a cool, interesting and useful video. I hope you have a happy day💝
Anya Diary....Thanks!! The wildlife Refuge is a wonderful area because of the unique scenery and the excellent fishing opportunities.....I never miss a chance to ride to the Refuge here on the Florida Gulf Coast!!
The water is skinny out there and new motor is humming…. 👍 those reds are beautiful. That 26” is gorgeous. I will be in Florida second half of May. But, I won’t be able to make it up there.
Thanks Yuri!! I'm slowly breakin' the motor....About 7 hours now....It was definitely worth the change!! It's knot everyday I anchor and catch fish in all directions....Right place, Right time!! I was expecting you roll up next month....Sorry it won't work out.....If you change your mind let me know!!
Thanks James!! Can't remember the last time I flipped a top water in every direction and had a spot tail chew on a Skitter Walk.....Have a great weekend!!
Thanks Wayn!! I'm knot sure what I'd do with myself if I couldn't get out on the salt.....Say glad you've heeled up....Now you can really enjoy your leisure time......Have a great weekend!!
Hey good luck up there .....The Gulf near shore waters in the Refuge have turned black because of all the rain that's pushed the Tannic Stain out of the swamp!!😎
Hemingroo....Thanks!! Can't beat a day of snaggin' Beasts in the Bushes.....No place I'd rather be than in the Wildlife Refuge here on the Nature Coast!!
Hard to beat a topwater bite like that. Love it when they chase it and hit surface a few times like that. On the right day that stringer is good enough to win a new boat! Seems like you got the hang of the new 4 stroke and haven’t missed a beat
Thanks Marc!! I hate to miss a good surface slammer....It really helps to start off the video segment.....LOL!! I've won a few bucks from being in the right place....It's hard to believe I can catch a Redfish in all directions in such a short period of time!! The first boat test was a disaster but I've now changed out the Minn Kota extension handle to a shorter/ stronger/stiffer one....I was really trying to hurt myself the first trip but I was out yesterday and I felt like my old self again.....I especially like the push button start.....No more yankin' and crankin'.....LOL.....Enjoy your Sunday!!
@@fishing4dinner The 4 stroker is getting about 10 mpg or about 4 trips up north on 6 gallons rather than 3.. definitely quieter....Didn't need the T&T with the tunnel but as I mentioned electric start was the icing and being able to use the small starter battery which saved me about 60 lbs.!!...I'm done with motors with both boats now equipped with 4 strokers....Best of both worlds.....Inshore and offshore!!😎
Thanks Rande!! Being able to glide through these narrow creeks is my specialty.....This was the last trip with the 2 smoker..... I'm more fuel efficient by 25%....It's quieter.....Definitely worth the money!!
Thanks Victor!! I've got 8 hours on the motor so far and I'm really enjoying running around the Refuge!! The throttle response is quick... it's reel quiet and it looks as if I'm getting about 10 miles to the gallon.....There's quite a difference from the 2 stroke I had.....Enjoy your weekend!!
Thanks, im in Weeki Wachee, so I’ll check it out. I’m in the process of paying my dues in the Chaz. I rebuilt an old 16’ SeaArk. Haven’t caught any fish yet, but I think I’m getting closer everyday! I really enjoy your videos! I think I need to go further back in, I’m staying to close to the main river I think.
@@robp_bowfly Right now the fish have moved near the outside but there is still activity in the bushes.....The big tides will start later in the PM this week and there is no tide in the AM....I'm not much into the middle of the day stuff.....High tides 1.9 or higher either early or late....It's a lot easier to learn this area with a lot of water.....I learned that a long time ago...Props and lower units are way too expensive....Got any questions feel free to give me a shout....Sea Ya!!😎
