I am taking the opportunity to show this clip as a single sequence which comprises the closing minutes from an episode of ABC's production of Hancock's into the commercial break followed by Redvers Kyle announcing that Wimbledon 1967 will be shown on Independent Television Monday afternoon. This is followed by an extract from the commencement of an episode of 'This Week' entitled ''The Arts''.
The above material has been obtained from other sources as individual segments and can be seen elsewhere. The closing minutes with cast list from the exit titles of 'Hancock's' can be matched to TV Journal listings which have indicated that all the individual segments are most probably taken from a Rediffusion transmission from Friday 23.06.1967. I have therefore reassembled these segments into a single clip starting with a slide from the Anglia edition of TV Times as this carries the full listing details for Hancock's and a National Newspaper listing for Rediffusion's output and are both from Friday 23.06.1967 the later showing an abridged cast list for Hancock's which was then followed by 'This Week - The Arts'
Hancock's appears to have been transmitted at 10.05pm in the Anglia Region and at 9.40pm in London Region.
From the Rediffusion listings it can be deduced that this recording approximately covers the time period 10.05pm to 10.15pm
