It was wonderful!🤗 I got some great stuff for the haul. It s gonna be awesome. They had allot of orchids that inspired me to do project with them. Like group mounting in large cork. I also did would mount and other potting idea. This way when I do my haul it’s finished and ready to present. As soon as I’m done in my spare time to repot, mount, and clean up, I’ll do the haul video. I’m so excited. And the queen is back on her throne. 👑

I found some white bat plants at EFG Orchids in Deland, FL yesterday and they’re 35% off until the end of October! They are 8” pots for $22.75…about 2’ tall. That’s a CRAZY good deal compared to what was at Redland’s. 😮
That sounds like a great buy! Congratulations on your new Bat Flower plants. With good care they can grow in abundance. They do love allot of water. The leaves will let you know right away when it’s thirsty. They will start drooping.

The Motes hold the 2 largest orchid shows in Florida every year. There is the Redland International Orchid Show held in October, and the Tamiami International Orchid Show and Fair in January. You can go online and check out their site for dates.
Thanks for doing this video! I was there on Saturday but only for the last couple hours since I drove all the way from Orlando. It was indeed a lot and I was only able to buy from 4 vendors. 11 total. So glad you filmed this as I watched what I may have missed. I completely skipped the entire section of vendors from the entrance and went straight to the heart of all the action. I wish I could've checked out what Lee & Co had. From your video, it looked like that booth would've interested me. What were the plants that dangled at the entrance of Smiley's booths? I tried to look up "Halluetta Henghong" but I don't think I heard it right. lol
Glad to hear you were able to visit the show. You need the whole weekend and still you moss out on some vendors. I didn’t get to see them all. The plants at Smiley were actually Huperzia sp. Hang Hong. I pronounced the first name wrong.
I was here and bought two air plants that were growing outside a shell made it look like a jelly fish (hanging from fishing line). I’m trying to buy more but don’t know the vendor 😢 if anyone sees this and knows thanks in advanced
