I discovered this when I was in the air force. Rediscovered it as a middle school teacher. Fighting a different war now. Helping kids to believe in their power to change the world. Fighting ignorance with my fellow warriors.
you are a hero god bless you and peace with you. you could say im doing the same with everyone i meet. i hope i can make a difference. i don't think its too late to do that.
Just have to say, I'm nearly 55, a woman soon to be 1st time Grandma, (psyched!) and we're from the TINY state of Vermont,...I crank this in my car to the point I'm certain other driver's hate my guy's, though I try to be respectful around eldery folk's, funeral home's, cemetary's etc,.... LOVE this song and band, rock and roll heart will never die :) My Granddaughter, WILL play the guitar and jam lol!!!!!
Love your comment, however this Mainer has to remind you kind lady that you never turn your music down for anyone! You're outside on the road afterall ( public property). Crank it up, always. ( they'll get over it, and if not....thats not your problem...less is more)
March 9th I was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer of the mediastinum. 1 in 3 chance of beating it. I quickly realized I am not in this fight alone. I've played this song every day since
Well to all I am 61 years old and when i am down this is the song that picks me up. Put on them headphones and Rock Out and we were all born to rise. That's how God intended it to be..🙏🙏🙏 🙏
rita phillips - haha age is nothing !! And I’m glad someone older then me appreciates this type of worship , a lot of Christians are like ohh you can’t listern this type or that type of music but any music that glorify god is good music in my opinion!!! 👍🙏 amen and have a blessed day !!
As a biker, i respect everyone on the road... dont ever come between my bike buddies or family... that could be dangerous. Keep it rockin' Redlight King 👊🤘🔥
I only just discovered this while watching Draft Day. Kaz, you and the band are wonderful! I am 71, a rocker since The Beatles. Music didn't offer much of anything new until I heard Redlight King, and you are the first new breath of rock that I've been totally excited about in years!!! Keep making the music! God bless! Debbie Miller
Loved the band way before this song came out (Bullet In My Hand is one of my fav songs).... Heard this song on Draft Day and was like I know that voice and thought about it for a few seconds and I said that's Redlight King!!! I knew they would hit it big and I wish them lots of luck in the future!
I've heard this song on Octane a good bit, and I just had to listen to it so I RU-vidd it. I'm a motorcycle rider and I am now obsessed with this song, because it hits home now. Love it. If there weren't motorcycles I'd probably not listen to it again though. haha
Growing up in California and getting my motorcycle license then my first Harley I felt a freedom that is hard to explain. That feeling of riding up the California coast with 20 of my friends white knuckle riding in formation with that roar of motorcycle engines in my ears making them ring and the spray of ocean mist on my face it was euphoric. But now I live in Pennsylvania and that feeling is gone. It feels empty. Riding out here is different completely different and my heart wants to return to that. That euphoric freedom of the ocean on my face and ringing ears. Feeling that freedom was everything to me.
All y'all commenting on this song and this awesome band from 8+ years ago. I just heard this today and I'm blown away. These guys kick ass, how are they not more mainstream by now? Furthermore, are they even still together and making these amazing songs? Hats off to you guys, love your shit!!! Wish I would've discovered you sooner. 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Also he sings about heart. If you gotta call your brothers to help you fight. You ain't got heart. Take that beat down, keep coming back till you don't. That's heart
Damn.. 10 years ago me and my dad listened to this song together and we loved it, now he's gone and I've been feeling like absolute shit missing him and this came across my recommend, thanks dad. I needed this.
Nostalgia.....!!!!!! Almost listening it after 2 years sad to see such less views People listen to mainstream trash and treasures like this remain undiscovered
That panhead is sick. My dad had a 57 panhead with shovel top, and a s&s two barrel carb, when I was little, man that thing sounded badass. I Love those old harleys.
I love your shit bro, I met you with respect at the Opera house a few years in the past. Thanks man, I appreciate the fact that you help the soul with your music, I think we have some kind of connection, cheers bro!
dhunley1 same brother, i ride a honda with t bars and risers in Cincinnati OH and its amazing all the big booty black chicks that do double takes when i roll on by lol
I loved these guys when I saw them in Manchester supporting Shinedown on a tour a while back. I've been a fan since then. Cool guy and a cool band, I can definitely relate to this kind of rock.
many people were raised to think they are better than someone for one reason or another. as people who were born to rise...we need to rise above by being the best at what we do! be honest and show how to be strong and love instead of hate. we are born to rise.
the ones born to rise stand tall and proud. we don't need the mindless masses we sometimes have to stand alone. we sometimes have to stand for someone else. we do because we are warriors born to rise. God bless and safe journeys .
All I can say is that this is my absolute favourite song of all time it is amazing I listen to it literally at least 3 times a day best song yet keep up with the good work
if youve ever cried cause ye know yer brothers are hurting and theres fuk awe ye kin do for them but stand tall with them ,an share their pain, lend an ear ,share yer last with them knowing they would share their last with you ,then yer lucky like me ,for youve experienced what only a few are granted , i am blessed that i have , sittin at crazy speeds looking across the lane at yer man, feeling the exact feeling he is, through rain hail sleet or snow, only living in that moment like a giant entity on the road, moving as one, theres fuk all like it that ive found in this world , ,,,
Every thing about you guys is so FRIGGIN' KOOL! Your band name and the still shot of the video drew me to listen. In the first minute of the song, you made me a fan! The video, your unique sound and blend of instruments etc are awesome! Been riding since the 80's and have a Dyna right now so the bikes draw me and was a complete headbanging teen in the 80's so the modern hard rock style really appeals to me! I keep trying to tell people who say good rock ended in the 80's or 90's and that everything else sucks should take a look around! You guys are a good example of that with this. Hafta check out some of your other stuff!
so good a tune , bought the two albums,,,, fxr's rool, even here in rainy ol scotland ,uk., best wishes to the band, and unknown riders, keep keepin it real ,LL&R
ALL HARLEY FXRS and FXDX and DYNA LOWRIDERS.......Bay area real RIDERS ( UNKNOWN INDUSTRIES ) `All HAMC supporters. These are REAL Riders,A Real Talented bunch....and the band kicks major ass .great video with alotta heart and very cool as well (the 3 best scenes are 1; the kids climbing on the fence watching the dude do donuts and smiling like hell, the 2nd best one is the dude working on the H-D twin cam motor on the bench with the grinder with the VANS FOOT MAT @ the edge of his workbench- and the 3rd one is the Skateboarding kid ( with board in hand ) watching the pack roll by ~ and his shirt says 'LIVE FAST - SKATE FASTER' . AWESOME BAND - AWESOME VIDEO.....LOTSA COOL karma .
It takes me back to being brought up, I grew up on motorcycles, since I was 21/2-3yrs. old my Dad's bike was a 57panhead That's what I grew up on!🙌💞💜☺✌I. Miss my Dad, the Riding!!! husband and I(was the Husband's)had a Shovelhead, I am not sure of the year maybe same as the pan head,Anyway, the ONE THAT said that it Doesn't matter what you Ride,as love to ride, nomatter the weather!🙌🙋hell yeah,Let's Ride!! thanks
Just out of curiosity what was you on when you went down? Just jumping on a motorcycle is not enough to know if it is for them. That is why most of us stress the importance of a MSF (Motorcycle Safety Foundation) class. Not only to learn how to ride but to see if it is for you. Not every one is meant to ride. +Alistair Monroe Do it, If it is for you it is the great adrenaline rush at first till you get use to it then it's just addiction. But first look for the closest classes to you. Sometimes they are free.
Florida Boilermaker I was on the back of a Yamaha 600. Wasn't our fault at all, but it rarely is the person on the bikes fault in crashes. I mean, I'd get back on one but I could tell from that ride alone I wouldn't have been able to react as fast as my friend driving it did. You deff need to be mentally aware of every little detail on those bad boys.
Yes you do and be willing to accept the reality of what might happen. From what I hear it is a lot different from riding as a passenger and as a pilot. Sucks what happen to ya but glad that you made it out ok to still be here.
I’ve never seen this video, but I’ve always liked the song. Now I like it even more. From one Harley brother to many others, ride on brothers! Much love from VA.

This song is played at Chicago Wolves games during practice, sometimes & this song is also heard over the end credits of the movie 'Draft Day'... It took me quite a while to finally find out who does it.; Speaking of the film 'Draft Day', I hope this song is included on its sound-track because if not, after I down-load it, I'll put 'Draft Day' as the name of the album, myself & I don't care who's offended by it. Coincidentally, I started hearing this song during the Chicago Wolves' practices this year (The 2013-2014 season) & the first time I actually heard it was sometime in October, I believe & almost everybody I asked as pertains to the name of this song & who performs it, they had no idea.; Luckily, enough for me & my girl-friend, I found out who it is because like me, she's a Chicago Wolves fan, as well.
