I lived in Ashland as a child. My grandparents had a home in Red Lodge for decades. This is so heartbreaking to see. Red Lodge and surrounding areas are a tight knit community that helps each other in difficult times 🙏 I pray everyone is safe and is able to bounce back from this 💖✌
I've spent a lot of time in Red Lodge over the years. This is sad. I heard the Red Caboose restaurant is gone. For some of the comments people build along creeks, rivers and coastlines its no different than any other place in the world. That's what people have been doing for centuries. It's not a common thing for flooding in the west.
i can see how certain building were graded properly before construction, by the way they are slightly elevate from the surrounding land. those places were saved from the flooding. note to self. higher a proper sight development team
I was so lucky went to Yellowstone National Park on weekend of June 4th 5th 6th a week ahead before flooding and pass by Montana too. Also made alot of videos from Yellowstone National Park too!
