Anthony Matthews True, Erick Sermon said in a number of interviews that he and Parish Smith found him at a local club in New Jersey back in '89. He was a DJ. I don't remember all the details but somehow when Erick heard him rap, he was blown away and instantly signed him at Def Jam. In 1990, when their next album was released, he was put on 2 tracks (one being the original and complete version of Hardcore, which can also be found on Redman's first album but only with his verse).
