It's been 4 years and I'm still using K20 pro and I gotta say this I've never seen a Redmi phone so powerful and value for money and now also I use it for almost everything, I play BGMI at extreme, shoot 60fps videos and sometime 4k 60fps, edit and render as well. And I am never disappointed. I love my phone. And I still remember when the phone got launched starting at 27,999 but due to festive offers of Dushera I got it for 24,000. So it got even more beneficial.🙌
Absolutely. Best bang for the buck phone i've purchased and i'm not exaggerating. I've been using Xiaomi devices since the Redmi 1s and I'm using the K20 Pro as well currently, top of the line chip with good enough features, i do wished that they kept going with the pop up camera to be quite honest. I love how my phone didn't have any camera holes or notches. under display finger print is a bit slow compared to newer ultrasonics, but never misses on my end. The only service i've had to do is change the BP40 battery recently. 100% best value phone even though I didn't know that when I bought it. Survived the hardest drops and minor splashes as well! If only the K series kept consistent with ANY particular style. For custom ROMs, i've used the MIUI ORI by rukia-san but had to go back to the latest global recently. The amount of support raphaelin gets makes this phone an absolute banger. I've promised myself to use this phone at least until March 2024 which makes it a 4 year old phone by that point. Would probably give it to one of my nieces after since it still is quite a good performer.
Same here. Still using my Redmi k20 pro. I did change my battery recently as well. And I've been thinking of either buying a pre-owned s23 ultra or this Redmi k70 pro. Still undecided but I do wish the k70 pro had ip68 rating and wireless charging. The low fingerprint scanner positioning also discourages me. Finally, Redmi should bring back our pop up camera in k80 pro
Yeah. Back then was pretty well priced too. Now it seems that everything is like .5x it's price. Still a good phone just software support is finally over. Though you could still add 2 years more without any hiccups.
I still have the k20 pro lying around after I switched last year. bought an iphone 13 which i got rid in 5 months, then got myself a s23 ultra which is my daily now. The k20 pro served as a great phone throughout my college life, never letting me down ever. Best flagship kilter at the time
@@chukwumaudechukwu7026I also have k20 pro and want to replace battery. did u changed the battery yourself or any offline shop? Did u put original battery and what was its price?
Realising than an iPhone user is reviewing a Xiaomi , why wouldn't you complain also him testing the nit is outrageous cause I don't think he'd test the iPhone nits . Basically no go review would come out even if the k series is the best in the world
my phone now is also k20 pro but it's dying - battery is really bad even after i changed it with nohon replacement , random restarts and only charge when i turn it off . Next will be probably S23 or oneplus nord 3 , but will keep my k20 pro and try to fix it .
camera is bad by today standards but screen looks good and can be overclocked to 84hz with custom kernel . Performance is still plenty . I won't replace it this year if it won't broken down @@mohamedazhar7006
still using k20 pro . battery changed after 3 and half years.... no lag, no hang, no heating, no complaints 4 years and 5 months now... 7 hours of average SOT...
@@hellogood322from authorized service centre it cost 1000₹ ( including service charges ) I have changed it 2 years ago and now again going change in next few days but not going to leave this legendary phone
watching it on my k20 bought in feb 2020. 4+ years later, still working like a charm (except a few freezes here and there, but not a big issue). battery life has dropped a little but apart from that, its flawless. great networks, loud and clear speakers, crisp amoled display, decent haptics 🎉🎉
I am currently using the Rising OS a13 custom rom on my 9T Pro (K20 Pro with NFC) device, and I must say, it is still a breeze to use even at the end of 2023. Everything works wonderfully, and thanks to a battery replacement a few months ago, I now get a screen-on time of 6 hours or more during normal usage. This device has truly been the best value for my money, and I am extremely satisfied with my purchase.
@@hellogood322 Search for RT batteries in your local market, but you have to be careful; there are a lot of duplicates available, or go to the Xiaomi service centre.
I had a k20 and loved it but my biggest problem was that it didn't have the right antennas for where I live and I wasn't getting a lot of my calls. It was able to make them and sound good just not receive them. I'd love to get the k70 but I doubt they fixed the antenna problem seeing that they are not marketed for my country. Other than not receiving calls the k20 was a solid phone for everything else.
I have been using k20 from the first sale ever ( 4+ years now), while the market has changed with so many new additions. No device comes close to the beauty and the price to performance ratio. I don't feel the necessity to change the device. All hail the custom from community!
The K20 Pro (or Mi 9T Pro for global version) was probably the best quality-price phone in history... I have one myself since 2019 and is still better that the nowadays average. It's just insane.
I am watching you after what feels like a huge amount of time, completely forgot about c4etech lol, I used to watch you guys all the time back in the day
Thank you for bringing up the redmi k20 pro, im still using it right now and watching this video, this k70 pro is beast and will upgrade to this from k20 pro
Ordered My K20 pro on first day of big billion sale. I must say it is a perfect combination of Power and efficiency and the look of this phone is so beautiful even today it can compete with many 15K-20K range phones. now the UI is a bit laggy because there is no updates for optimisation as we all know about MIUI but still it is working super Fine .PS i bought K20 pro only for 20250 after bank discount and coupons
No, a phone that charges at 120W over its USB-C port would definitely not be using the USB 2.0 standard. There are a few reasons why: USB 2.0 only supports up to 2.5W for device charging. So 120W charging requires a different USB standard. The 120W power delivery indicates use of modern USB Power Delivery technology and specifications. These were not introduced until later USB versions like USB 3.1 and USB Type-C. High wattage fast charging requires capabilities that only exist in newer USB protocols - like bi-directional data transmission, higher voltages, and flexible power negotiation. USB 2.0 lacks these capabilities. A phone fast charging at over 100W generates significant heat, so it necessitates the thicker, more robust Type-C cable design to safely handle the power flows. The older USB 2.0 Type-A connector and thin cable would pose signal integrity and fire safety risks at 120W. In summary, while you can still find both fast and slow charging devices with a USB-C connector, if a phone is able to charge at 120W, you can be certain it is leveraging much more recent and advanced USB capabilities than the old USB 2.0 specification. The power delivery wattage alone requires adherence to modern standards released in the last several years.
RU-vidrs will cover everything except battery life. I don't understand, do you guys not realize how important battery life is to us consumers who don't have 100 phones in our office?
This phone looks great. Although I am sad they dropped the wireless charging but with 120W wired why would you even use it. I right now use the Redmi K60 and I only paid 230 for it which is crazy value.
Hope k70 pro be rebrand as Poco f6 pro for global I'm ok with cnrom Currently I'm using k30prozoom with pixel experience Perfect imho but the mic is shitty now after frequent dropped 😂
The 4000 nits is probably on a 5 or 10% window. If that is true and it can do 4000 nits on a 10% window then that would be sick. Cuz in most well graded movies, the brightest parts are only specular highlights and they don't take over the entire screen. So the impact of the specular highlights is fantastic.
Who else noticing that, chinese phone are now using thier own technology and replacing other's, eg display, switched to TCL display , and Huaxing C8 OLED display, from Samsung, gorilla glass also replaced, camera sensor from OmniVision, replacing sony sensor, next will be chipset huawei started making thier own processor without help of tsmc, motherboards from,Taiwan, ram by hynix, rom is still samsung ufs4
Typing in my K 20 pro and its still very good. Mi cut off the updates else it would still easily last like the iphone !!! The K 70 pro needs some good optica .
8gen 3 processor seems to have heating issues in first impressions of most. Hopefully it's not the case after launch. Otherwise 8gen 2 mobiles will be more valuable
Where did you hear it from? I've seen quite a few 8 Gen 3 phone reviewers on YT, Reddit & phone sites and have not seen much at all on heating problems.
there are no such thermal issues except for benchmarks as they use more power to reach higher performance but only at peak it performs better at the same power consumption bcs of newer core architectures and core design
Hi Ash! As a psychologist, i would want to give you a kind suggestion if you're reading this : Please don't be over expressive with almost each and every word you say. Please give it a break. Expressions need to be subtle and not too breezy for everyone's liking. Your views don't do justice to your number of subscribers and i think it can be one issue. I hope you give it a thought :)
0:02 K20pro😢... Lost my K20pro last month😢🥺 One of my personal favourite mobile. No phone will replace K20pro.. Suggest me if any best mobile that will replace my K20 pro ??!!..
I wish it launches in India even though I am damn sure it wouldn’t. Redmi doesn’t care about the Indian audience. They only launch their Note series which is not the same as before. Plus they limit the K series only for China and Europe. Sad 😞
ya bro... my eyes are messed up... I cant open them outdoors in sunlight... very sensitive... and I usually ahve a backlight behind my monitors... here I dont have that... so I wear the glasses :)
