Love your videos!!! Learning somethings, and I appreciate you taking the time to show what you are up too. It’s so much easier to just show a fast car rather than, doing what you do and show the build up of a car.
Freaking AWESOME to see Coop on this channel as well!! Keep up the awesome work man. We all know you're doing the editing for 2 channels now, yet people still talk shit. Don't listen to the haters. You're the man Coop! And for Jeremy, thanks for all of the knowledge man!! I absolutely love the channel!!
Jeremy I really enjoy your videos lately! Gonna be tackling a fuel system myself pretty much the same so was nice to see a little bit of what is gonna be involved.
Thanks for tips. You guys are all great to watch. Your always showing us something your doing it building to give your followers ideas. Thank you for what you guys do....
Loving this build. Hey might I suggest an elbow on the cooler return which brings your return line below water level. That way it won't suck air back into the system every time you switch it off.
7:50 exactly.. I went with a softer tire that also was 3lb's lighter than factory. 3lb's per corner but it's as far away from the center as possible. Felt it in acceleration - but please keep in mind the car doesn't even weight 2600lbs.
Great videos man, lots of good information.... This is good safe budget building at its finest and NOT hackery cutting corners bullshit like some of these other guys on RU-vid...Great content, keep it coming.👍
Feed the rail from the pump have it t out to go to the regulator for your return then you won't have to worry about any fuel pressure drop issues whatsoever until you're making some really big boy Power.
I would have to agree with your theory on where to put regulator 100%. It's the only way you can ensure you maintain pressure in the rails. Of course it's just my opinion.
If you add some salt to that ice tank you'll lower the temp of the water even further! I don't remember the ratio. It's no different than adding salt to the ice on a hand turn ice cream maker
Get some alloy checked plate and patch up that hole you made in the boot. Get a hole saw and cut some holes in it to run the heat exchanger hoses and seal it with rubber grommets. 👍take care mate 🇦🇺
I'm sure you know this, and someone may have already said it. But I wouldnt run your PCV hoses in front of your mass airflow sensor..... and oil residue or fuel and itll ruin the sensor and ruin your ability to tune it or if it's enough fuel... kaboom
Just wondering - On the water cooled intercooler, if cooler is better, have you considered running something different like anti-freeze cooled with crushed dry ice. Seems like that would drop the air temperature much lower than water / ice. Is there a limit on how cool of an inlet air temp you should target?
Jeremy with all due respect you be better off doing the regulator like what you were talking about having it feed up to the rail have it go with boost pressure rise put the pump on kill since you're doing a return style system and then have a short piece feeding your fuel rail without shopping that up between time labor and materials you be better off getting a hold of Jesse at Olsen Custom works and have him get provide you some Billet rails
334videos LOL was just thinking ; I live in utah but served a church mission in Detroit and the state police there use the HuGe trash can looking red single lights Ontop their blue statie cars lolol how cool would that be!??.....Ok not so much, now that I think about it, funny but not cool lol , have two siblings that are cops (highway Patrol and sheriff) let's get a cool clear LED low profile light bar up top! Lemme see what I can do!
You should make an intro for your videos. Dress up like your “I want you to make some power”. Then maybe have some other videos of you doing some burnouts or sprinkling the magic dust to make more power.
Most police forces keep and destroy the ballistic panels in this area. I guess they don't want a handful of cheap bulletproof cars running around. That said if they are in there they are very heavy.
How can you create a vacuum in the air-to-water intercooler if it's "open"?... the trunk ice tank can't seal well enough to create sufficient vacuum. Temporarily cap those lines off? ...or just suck from that high point in the front water-to-air heat exchanger? Then I have to ask how can you possibly prevent it from getting air bubbles when you launch... if that big tank in the trunk has air in it... surely you'll occasionally uncover the pump inlet on a hard launch... no? Do you have to map the methanol intake cooling spray into the engine fuel map? Will it begin injecting at a certain positive manifold pressure, or RPM, or what? This takes me back to the early 90's when I put a water/methanol vapor injection system on my Gen2 RX7. Sorry to mention non-Uncle Sam related vehicle here... but this was after I transplanted a '78 Buick Turbo Regal V6 into my '76 Skyhawk, which I hacked the potted oem engine computer in order to take control of the wastegate - and give me a point to also control the water injection I put on it)
Not a fan of Methanol for this application. Ethanol would be better, not nearly as corrosive, then you could use E85 to drive it around on the street with just a tweak of the tune. Hope that fuel pump survives.
Love the vids man .she's not heavy my grand prixs is the true porkapotamas lol 4500 with driver ..looking to top swap it .soon ..i have everything for it would love it if u could do a quick review on 3.8 top swaps Jeremy there's lots of people ....keep up the gd work man ....
Just a quick question, so the blower had a screw go through it. Will it still make power like an undamaged one? And also will you put a different blower on it if its not going to be as efficient as a undamaged one?
People really on here trying to give this man advice 🤦🏻♂️😂😂 like I understand y’all wanna be involved and helpful but damn, you don’t think this man know? Lol come on guys. But awesome video, it’s cool how you explain all the little tricks you are using to achieve different things.. it would be cool to see this run against the dale truck, the V, and neighbor. 4 lane strip and just have James thrown in to give y’all a high number to try and reach!? That would be sweet.
Jack Daniels right???? This is Jeremy owner of Fasterproms!!! Held (holds) THE WORLD RECORD for fastest c7 corvette and fastest ATS-V and fastest CTS-V cadi ON EARTH!!!! I think he knows a bit of what he's talking about ,....JUsT fine lol. Think that every time I see a basic comment , yikes people!
Lookin good for a "budget" build, can't wait to see where it really goes. And yes Jeremy, run your tranny as hard as you can. I still cringe a little when people call em trannys, especially when they say they're gonna run em hard.
Jeremy, That beard must weigh 6lbs plus another 10lbs for your low hanging fruit....lolol..! Can't wait to see you drag'in them Cleetus bald eagles..!!!
about the tank fillertube : you could shorten it and fill it from a resessed fillerneck build in the rear doorjamb photobucket.com/gallery/user/fabmaster23/media/bWVkaWFJZDo3MjI0OTUxMw==/?ref= unless you spray the gas all over the upholstery it should be a nice solution
Mr Dashpuppy from my understanding of the system in the video, the pump is towards the back of the water box plus he needs to put more water in it. Also it’s a closed system so it shouldn’t loose any water if Jeremy fixes the leak.
