the overall quality of their products is quite good for the price, unlike razer that has nice looking products but has the cheapest low quality parts on the inside for a very high premium price
I have bought many peripherials from that brand of Redragon back in the years and all of them proved to be reliable , maybe except a mouse which I held for few years and it felt "fatigued" it was named Redragon Origin.
@@SHADOWZXF That is a few year though and they do have a clearance and deals section in the store I really suggest this mouse it's going for $14 right now there.
I love the software for this thing. It's so simple, I have use logitech and Roccat software and roccat is full of bugs with poor macro creation and the logitech software used to be really good but since G hub came along it's become both excessively simple and ridiculously painful to set up.
This mouse is great, the comfort is there and the shape fits my hand pretty well, although I needed to get used to the shape but now my old aim is back and it feels great plus its cheap, has rgb, software modification is added and the number pad is very useful
Just bought one for use with Blender, to help with its endless keyboard shortcuts. It feels good but it will definitely take some getting used to as I find it hard to press a side button without moving the mouse to the right. Also, the SW is far from intuitive. I had to find another vid to point out that you have to press Stop, not Apply, after you map each button to a keystroke; otherwise, the mapping is forgotten. The Apply button applies all the button mappings so you can start using them. The SW also sucks in that there's no way to list all the button assignments so you can see them all in one view. You have to press each button to see how it is assigned.
Hey, thanks for showing the software! For mice with programmable buttons it's important to see how many profiles can be saved in the software, because believe it or not, there are mice with programmable buttons that don't even support any profile saving. This one seems pretty good with 5 profiles.
Update: Bought it, still using it and kinda happy. 1 downside: i'm using the QWERTZ keyboard layout, which the mouse doesn't support, so u can't add keys to the mouse, which don't exist on the QWERTY layout, for example "ß"
I like the red dragon mouse I've used mine for a while now as an alternative to my Razer Naga the little button to the left of the left click is nice as a melee button I do miss the tilt click of the Naga
I hardly ever use my tacticals in CoD, and I still do very well to decent. I think that little side button will be the perfect thing I need. gonna be tossing out concussions like its Christmas 🤣
I have an m901-1 Predition and I love it. I'm getting an m908 for the office. Mouse macros baby. I like the feel of the thumb buttons. As far as I know Redragon uses Omron switches. I trust Omron explicitly I use Omron products in my line of work.
the grip is very comfortable, even better than my ROG Gladius II. After long hours of playing games, I don't feel any pain or discomfort on my palm and wrist.
It could be on some units only, I've had the IMPACT for over a year and I have had no issues with creaking, squeaking or any related noises. Cheap and reliable.
@@hiimreyna It's holding up perfectly, I never really need to take my hand off of my mouse. I have my check mag, reload, crouch, prone, check fire mode, fire mode and a few other things bound to my thumb buttons (12 thumb buttons) So it definitely helps a ton.
I feel like it's really underrated, as if one hand is supposed to do nothing buy only aim and click shoot. Also thumbs are underrated with KB+mouse, these fingers are the most connected to our brains, vaguely speaking.
I've always been a console gamer purely because of games require all these different keys in your keyboard and stuff. Like how are you gonna use wasd and have to press like 20 keys for different abilities all across the keyboard? It's super annoying and mice like these really help.
Hi man! Quick question, on their website it says 18 of 19 buttons are customizable. Which one are you not able to keybind? I'm mainly looking to buy this mouse based on the top left button (next to the left click). But if this particular button is not available to be keybound then it's a no go. Also how does the size compare to the Razer Naga (if you've used it)? I tried out the Corsair Scimitar but it was just about too big. Cheers!
just bought this mouse as a replacement for the razer naga as the scrollwheel was whacky and 1 of the side buttons work intermittantly. the side buttons are harder to press down compared to the razer, which maybe a blessing as i do missclick the sidebuttons on the razer alot, or give me rsi in future lol. The macro allows for recording bunch of actions, the option to run once or repeat if held. But you can't click it as a on/off toggle for the buttons function to repeat by itself till toggled off. If there is such a function i hadn't found it
Bought this January 31, 2019 and just ceased function as of November 30, 2019. Currently looking for a replacement. Although this mouse was loved, I may be attempting to try something new in its class (and the competition is very few). I am looking at the Corsair Scimitar Pro vs. Razer Trinity Naga.
I just bought this. I have small hands, but long fingers. It fits me very nicely! Thanks for this review. Now to figure out where I want to put my spells/abilities...
My Logitech G600 broke after so many years and now they don’t make ‘‘em anymore 😢. This mouse is a great alternative since I’ve been wanting that 3rd click. Beats the big brand names.
i''m one of those guys relying a lot on a Side Button to put CTRL on it for doubling my hotkeys on keyboard without using my Left Pinky for CTRL. Do you think one of the side buttons (1 or 3 basically) is reliable for a constant use as a CTRL Keybind? I know that usually rectangular side buttons are more suited for that sort of work instead of this num pad style
Damn this put other brands to shame, I ever used Razer Naga but the click died prematurely in only maybe 2-3 months of normal use. Before that I also ever used a steelseries mouse I forgot which model and it had the same problem with the click in just a few months of use. After that I swear to avoid expensive mouse because the price vs longevity is just not worth it. I've been using cheap mice after that and it's been great, when it breaks not a big deal and just get another. Been using normal mice with just standard buttons, until I found this product which I want to buy later. I really cant understand why those other brands are so overpriced, mouse will eventually die dunno months or years. Currently using Havit mouse from HK, been great for years even after I dropped it so many times lol because of my cable placement
Is there any similar mouse to this, but without thoose buttons on the left? I still havent found replacement for my beloved Revoltec Fightmouse Elite :C Need similar looking mouse.
The Amazon description says 16.8 million color options and the software in your video only shows 7 different colors. Have they updated the software to take advantage of full RGB?
Would this be a good upgrade from a titanoboa 2? Like the mouse i have is already a dope pick (very corfomtable, just don't focus on the rear of your hands while holding, as, for me at least, goes under the mouse), yet it misses the "rgb" i hoped for. It would also come great with the indrah as a kit.
Odd request, if you got to keep the old squeaky one (plastic tolerance issue it sounds like) can you take it apart to show us the switches? I am very curious as I would like to pick one up and possibly mod it with different switches.
I only bought this mouse because my corsair started having problems after 2 years and I cannot find anything that helps make this thing work. The side program buttons do not accept combo key inputs, and have a new random keybind everytime I tab back to try a different trouble shooting method. So either this software is running on internet explorer or the newer version of this software is the shit in the bed of this mouse.
i have the perdition red dragon mouse and i’ve had it for a year and half and it’s not severely lagging and keeps disconnecting i’ve tried all the basic fixes and nothing’s workec
I have a Redragon M908 IMPACT RGB LED MMO Mouse Laser Wired Gaming Mouse with 12,400DPI, High Precision, 18 Programmable Mouse Buttons My problem is that I can not find the software page. You explain how to find the software but don't give the page What are the chances of you putting up the Software Page? I contacted support & they want £5 - I think that is a bit of a con why don't they just say before you buy the mouse the software will cost another £5
I been using this mouse for the last 7 months. I bought it until i could buy a better one, and I did bought a corsair and a razer. but none of those 2 feels as good as this cheap redragon. I can't play without this mouse
u can put it to shift + ctrl + 1-10 cuz i doubt u would ever use those i personally use shift and ctrl on their own like ctrl 1-10 in wow but shift+ctrl+1 nop and never will
how to make scripts ? for headshot in games and use right click +left click in sniper how i think this mouse with mo scripts ? an one answer me plz i will restore the mouse if no scripts
just a quick warning for anyone who is willing to buy this mouse: after a week from using it i start to get the same squeaky sound from the left mouse button as shown in this video and it bothers me a lot.....
ALL the buttons can be changed. Switch he scroll wheel to a macro, change the clicks to do shift & caps lock, and change the side buttons to left click and right click. Anything you want.
@@Proxyincognito same exact problem here, this video gives no help with setting up F keys and actually downloading the sotfware to address the main problem, well wasted 30$
@Austin Jobe I managed to fix it, uninstalled the software, restarted the pc and reinstalled it. Let me know if it works for you, maybe we can figure this out.
@@Fahim.Khan33 it gives the mouse more weight for better gliding on a mouse pad, weight in a mouse gives you a good feeling of where your pointer will land on the screen, they are removable so you can take a few of the cylinders out if you want less weight, personally i leave all weights in my red dragon mouse.
Aaron it’s really good I had it for nearly over a year now It’s amazing and works like it is brand new and it’s software is amazing I even made a video on it on my channel
