Hi Mark, I just wanna tell you something is there's no one like you in this world, you're so kind ,modest, fun and a real human, I love you from the bottom of my heart, and I have a wish to see you one day here in Iraq,in my house.May Allah always protect you for us,sir. Keep going.👍👏🤲❤🌹👋 Your sis from the Iraq North.
This type of content is just so different from other english teachers on youtube. I love it and it makes us as english learners really easy to digest. Keep up the great work mad.
Guten Tag, Mark!!! 😉 It was so nice to see you again!!! We've already missed you!!! Thanks for showing us the Redstone Plaza Strip Mall!!!👍 I just went back to your previous "strip-mall-video" of September 19th last year!!! You predicted a grocery store ( convenience store), a pizza place (Pizza Hut), a Chinese or Indian restaurant, a pharmacy and a medial clinic!!! But, nope, you didn't predict a liquor store!!! All in all your predictions weren't that bad at all!!! 👍👍👍👏👏👏!!! I can well imagine being a RU-vidr is hard work!!! Thank you so much for you effords!!! And thanks so much for the nice snowball as well!!! ❄ I only speak German perfectly!!! I had to learn Russian as first language at school, but I hardly understand anything anymore!!! I suppose it's easier to learn a language which is using the same writing system as you do!!! ( German/English f. i.). It has to be very tough to adopt a completely new writing system (e. g. the English alphabet for Chinese people and the other way round)!!! I guess the German language is hard to learn, because of the weird gender-rules of German nouns (DER Hund, DIE Katze, DAS Kind), the 4 cases and declinations!!! We have a special phrase for it "German language - hard language"!!! If you ever have any questions relating to our German language, just let me know!!! I'd be happy to answer all of them!!! Though, I could well imagine that your German is even much better than my English!!! 😁 Have a wonderful, sunny day in Redstone!!! Take care, my friend!!!🙋♀️
Guten Tag! 😃😃Thanks for your kind words! Actually, my German is really bad and entirely incomparable to your English! You are completely fluent! I don't think you learn much English from my channel, but sometimes I try to throw in a hard word like milquetoast to challenge you! Thanks for offering your German language services! They will definitely come in handy when I start learning German again! Have a nice rainy day in Germany!
Hi, Mark, glad to hear you again;) Hope you didn't freeze there in Calgary's snow)) We have now + 20 here in Ukraine, it's a bit strange for October, we really enjoy such warm weather! I speak Russian, it's my first language. As I live in Ukraine, I speak Ukrainian most of the time. I'm quite fluent in English, I understand a lot of German, but I haven't enough speaking practice. Take care, Mark))
Hey Mark! Thanks a lot for a splendid vlog! Great to see ya again! Nice to see the sun over Calgary! I hope the liquor store will be open before long in Redstone Plaza, haha! It's always cool to have such a store next door, isn't it? Have a nice day and take care!
Hi, Mark Good job 👍 I didn’t see anybody around you. I think it’s a cool city. It looks nice. I got happy to see you and your fantastic video. Many thanks 🙏 🌸👍
i can only speak Chinese , English is my foreign language, thank you teacher for your helps! i like your vedioes very much ! RU-vid is the most useful way to learn english for me .thanks again !
I'm very proud of you, your Spanish pronunciation is good. Come to my country, the weather is quite warm in winter and you can brush up on clasical guitar if you want. Kisses from Barcelona.
Q emoción oir tu español 😍 So cute!! Thanks for sharing this video, beautiful place, the houses have the same design, I like it. Lovely Mark!!! Greetings from Lima-Perú! Cariños y gracias mi profesor favorito!!💪💪💪👐👐👐
Bonjour Marc!🙃 Heureuse de te retrouver ! I missed you. I love your lessons. Thanks to you. I made a lot of progress. I speak French and a little Italian and German. I love Italian language too 😄😍.
hi mark i'm from thailand i understand you. you talk about thai massage i have learn english when i was a student in university, and now i want to learn english from you. i like to speak american english accent it's so bueatiful i can speak 3 languages , thai, english and my local language, you're great, thank for teching english for us.....
Good to see you! Redstone plaza looks great! So many stores nearby. You were right about the pizza store and the medical clinic. Happy for you there will be a grocery as well, so you don't have to drive that far anymore to buy some food. I need to brush up on my English. It has been too long since I was in school. Wish I could brush up on my guitar skills, unfortunately my artritis keeps me from playing the guitar 😔 If you'd ask me, I would say not everyone in Europe speaks two or three languages fluently. In fact everyone should be able to speak English. That would be the best 😊 Have a great day! 🙋
You’re a nice guy, since I watching your video, I learned so many things, not only English but also life, and I tried to make kefir myself, thank you to let me know so much thing I don’t know before, wish you have your dreams come true
😀Hello my teacher Mark, I congregate you because you you knew another language, you're smart, i wish you could lean Creole 🇭🇹 too, it is simple and easy.
We don’t have snow here yet, but the winds can really be chilly. I hope you would try learning French as it and English are pretty similar. I speak English, Filipino and French.
Mark, you are a good blessed guy,.. you have to understand that you have good lucky to be canadian. You were born in a country that gave you almost everything you need to have a fair existence on Earth. Millions (maybe billions) of people wish to have 10% of your life's conditions. There are some hard or bad things in Canada.... maybe weather or internet as you told before... But You Canadians have the main and real important things for a confort and secure life!!! Think about those people around the world without housing, food, health care, security... living in poverty or wars.. You were blessed to be a great canadian guy!! Best wishes.
Sawadee ka teacher Mark! I speak Thai and just a little bit of English. It's a good idea for you to learn some Thai. I know an English teacher who escaped the cold weather from England and decided to live in Chiang Mai for about 8 years now! He said he took Thai classes. And 4 years after that he started teaching English in Thai for Thai people but I think some of his students are Laotian, Cambodian or even some English native speakers learn Thai in reverse too. Isn't that awesome?😁😁 Taking some courses and making friends will help effectively. Who know, we would learn "Mad Thai- English TV" on your channel in the near future, haha how crazy I am!
Hi Mark, I speak German (native language), English (second language) and a little bit of Khmer, although my Khmer language skills are far away from being conversational. However, since I'm currently living in Cambodia I have the opportunity to practice every day. Let me know when you're planning to come to Thailand, perhaps we can meet up for a cup of coffee!
Tu pronunciación en español es muy buena, better than my English pronunciation :-) I thought all Canadians know at least a bit of French (or English for Quebec residents).
Hi Mark, do you visit LCBO sometimes? Hope you can make a video of LCBO store someday in the future. There are many stuff inside I don't know . I mean there are lots of vocabulary in there you can teach us.
Hi, Mark! You mentioned a "real job" at the beginning of the video. What kind of job(s) did you do before you started this RU-vid channel? Many people dream of leaving a boring job but not everyone will dare to do it. It would be interesting to know how it all started.
Hi Dmitriy! 😃😃That's a great question. Actually I've worked a lot of different jobs in my life! Maybe I should make a video on all my work experience. I hated most of the jobs I had. Haha
Hi Mark!, it's glad to see you here again! I speak spanish and I want to learn english as second language. Your spanish pronunciation is so good, you could learn speak spanish I could tech you if you help me to speak a fluent english 😊
Wow, many new house here. Under CAD10 foot massage in Thailand and the service is good! Why u wanna escape from Canada, but many of us wanna imigrate to there! We love snow that why we love to go to Hokkaido!
Your Calgary town is so beautiful! The rows of houses and streets are very reasonable and clean planning! Wild rabbits, Seagulls, green grass ... What a place to live! Dear Mark! You have lived in China for almost 2 years but don't see you listing Chinese in a list of languages you can speak, you don't like it or is Chinese so hard that you can't learn it? I know the two foreign languages ,they are English and Russian. Russian is the language I learned in high school. I almost forgot, but can I still say some simple sentences like WHAT IS YOUR NAME? MY NAME IS... I LOVE YOU ,... КАК ТЕБЯ ЗОВУТ ? МЕНЯ ЗОВУТ... Я ЛЮБЛЮ ТЕБЯ ... Russian and Russian songs are very nice, melodic and calming....I used to love it but now I only intend to brush up on English as it is an international language .
That's funny. So many people want to get into Canada, yet you want to leave! You're so cool! You can speak all these languages! I speak russian, english, spanish and chinese. Used to speak lithuanian and polish. Of course not all of them are perfect but I'm working on it. Guess what I've noticed? The older you get the easier one can learn a language. I have no idea who created the myth that kids learn a language faster than adult. When I teach our kids a second foreign language at school I notice that the older kids pick it up faster than the younger onces. Thanks for video. PS there are so many audioooks in german. Lookup ratito on youtube they have it different levels A1A2 - C1C2
I’m brushing up on my writing skill in English, I’m aiming for a high band score on IELTS. About Spanish, it would be helpful for you to polish some phrases if you want to visit Latin America or the Spanish Caribbean, in case it gets too cold there, it’s always warm down here. I speak Spanish (mother tongue) and English and also I understand and read a bit of French.
Hi man, great video. I was wondering if you want to pick up some Chinese. If yes, just let me know. We have public school English teaching positions in Shenzhen, China. You may pick up Chinese, vlog and work here at the same time 😊
Please, don't concern yourself, dude. Your UTube work is more real than that "real job" you don't have. Be sure the entire family of followers in love with your UTchannel!
Hi Sir! Thanks for the video. There are a lot of vocabulary. Ich spreche deutsch weil I in Deutschland war. I speak Arabic: I'm Moroccan. Je parle très bien le français et je travaille avec. Hablo un poquito Español. I'm brushing up on English right now.
Hey, you hit my face wth the snow. lol!! 😄❄️❄️.Great to see you! Computer is working well now? I thought you already have new one. But if it's the same 'ol laptop, it's time you replace it. Anyway, the strip mall is so cool! I have seen it rise from the ground.(thru your video). I must say, I'm one of your old student! You made video of it being constructed , partially opened and NOW, very much complete. You know what, I'd say this video is like a walk in a park. With matching Jack and Rose running on the side. A plain conversation between friends. Reminiscing, abit serious too and adorably playful. If only you could hear our life stories in return, You can learn much more about the world and our languages too. That's funny when you said you love your blood. But if you donate your blood, your body will produce new, fresh blood. Don't you like fresh blood running in your veins? 🤫 lol. Until then. Salamat at ingat ka, Mark😃😃
Hi Mark! I understand why you avoid people while you're making videos. When it's so quiet and there are very few people around, they might look at you strangely. But if you are in a tourist place, for example, and everyone is holding a camera or phone and is shooting and talking loudly, then I don't think it would be weird. It's just different.
Yeah, it is lucky for our friend Mark to live in Canada. The two strange trailers would be KGB if he lived in the former Soviet Union, and poor Mark would be put into prison as a spy. I wonder if the young people in the eastern European countries still know KGB and how they consider the former Soviet Union. Would you like to tell me if you have the time? Thank you! Have a nice weekend! Tom
@@tomsawyer8311 I am pretty sure that young people in Eastern Europe are not very interested in our past and KGB. They are very well educated, hard working and looking forward. I am sorry that my English is not as good as yours and I cannot express myself in a proper way. I hope you'll excuse me for that. BTW I'm not young :)
@@danielaangova5403 Hi Daniela! Sorry for replying late! I have just found your question as a notification message, but it remains invisible in all of my comments (very interesting). I am a Chinese student now, living with my family in Beijing and studying at a university in the same city. Last year I went to England as an exchange student and from there learned something I am interested in. But the more I learned, the better I can see how much there is still to be learned. So I hope to study in the U.S and get my Ph.D there in the future (if everything goes very well). But it is never an easy row to hoe, so I have to do my best to adjust and move on. I love Shakespeare and read most of his works. Do you like his plays? Would you please to tell me a little more about yourself? Thank you and best wishes to you! Tom
@@tomsawyer8311 Hi Tom! I"m from Bulgaria. I decided to learn a little bit English by myself and this became a great excitement for me. Congratulations to you for studying and doing your best. The student- exchange programs are a great chance for young people. My younger son was in Germany three years ago as an exchange student. They noticed that he is very intelligent and offered him a pretty good position. Since then he's been working in Germany and in Bulgaria at the same time. He cannot decide which country is better for his career, because in Bulgaria his position is great as well. Who knows? I wish you success!
@@danielaangova5403 Hi Daniela! Thank you for your kind words! I am glad to know you have such a diligent and bright son, and I can share your excitement that you try to learn a new foreign language as a mother. In truth, I should learn much more from you, for you are a living example of that old proverb “Never too late to learn”. Thank you and have a great day!
That's a really good question! I'm not sure. I think they are to prevent someone from ramming a vehicle through the glass and stealing all the liquor. Lol
Hi Mark.! from Mexico you speak spanish well much much than the USA people, well I know you are Canadian. by the way why don´t you show us the Calgary´s downtown, please.!?
Hi Mark! Yeah, we need to brush up on our foreign languages we have learned. For me, not only can I learn a variety of knowledge from a foreign language, but a unique thinking method as well. And what is more, I believe learning a foreign language can help me better and deeper understand my native language and national culture, and rethink the relationship between them and the civilization from all over the world. In this Global Age, I do not think one man or one nation can live alone in a lonely island (actual or virtual), even President Trump claimed that he would build a border wall against the invaders from outside (in order to help him escape from the inner fears and doubts in his heart). By the way, which language is the first foreign language in Canada? Of course some people think it’s French. But I do not know whether French is regarded as another native language in this country. Have a great weekend!
Hi Mark, could you please tell me how you happen to Learn Hindi !? That too you claim it to be the second after English that your are fluent in ! I've seen one of your video's where you speak in Hindi and the best part is your accent ! you had Infact Nailed it , how did you manage that >? as its the most difficult part to Master , even if one Manages to learn a Foreign Language ....
