Amazing content! It’s actually really nice seeing people use Arch as a daily driver for things other than productivity. I personally have never taken the deep dive into arch Linux gaming but I think during the winter I’ll hunker down and watch all of your content and set up my arch gaming rig.
tkg BORE kernel completely fixed my audio crackling issues and made games stutter FAR less. I dont know about FPS its about the same but everything is so much smoother and more responsive. Thanks! It is weird that the effect is of this magnitude. ryzen 5 3600

Like you said, don't especially expect more FPS BUT.....games run smoother and frame rates are more regular and constant. no more ugly spikes like dropping from 180 fps to 30 and the back to 150. Yes it would be great to explain us more in detail how to use the customization file, the option to reduce compil time is powerful. For people wondering, works great on Gentoo/amd/nvidia. For those on systemd, you have to create a conf file for the new kernel in boot/loader/entries directory. Mine goes like this (saved as tkg.conf): "title Arch Linux TKG linux /vmlinuz-linux66-tkg-bore initrd /intel-ucode.img initrd /initramfs-linux66-tkg-bore-fallback.img options root=PARTUUID=1dd87672-9ca7-4fbf-93e6-d44c1aec56c3 zswap.enabled=0 rw rootfstype=ext4 nvidia-drm.modeset=1" Check the Arch wiki for systemd-boot#Adding_loaders
Yes, you need to install the 6.7 version though to make your life easier. For the previous version, you will need to manually add the firmware for your GPU.
@@A1RM4X so i installed the kernel but it gives me shim bad signature yeah i use secure boot tried signing it didnt work so am prob gonna stick with the regular kernel

Whats the best now. What would you recommend me. and if i have a distro should i have a linux-tkg on it ? ( loweest input lags especially for ds4 controller ( rocket league gamer ) ) in future cs2 , too (with mouse and keyboard) . the smoothest experience, or how to say i5 13600K nvidia 4070 TI which disto and kernal combination you would recommend? you seems to be very experienced with latency etc for gamers
