Thank you - and thanks for watching and commenting. Yes you can do this yourself easily. I have made a different video only on the fuel injector cleaning which may make it easier to see. The tools you can buy on Amazon for less than 15$. And then you just have to make sure you don’t destroy the orings. If you do make sure you get the real ones to replace them since they have to withstand the fuel and not disintegrate, so normal orings won’t work they get eaten up by the fuel. Thank you for commenting and watching - sorry - I will try to help you here. The rail sits with two screws into the engine block on each rail. To depressurize there is a vent in or on the top of the rail, now watch out when pressing it it since there is residual pressure inside the rail - not much but enough to get wet. Approximately 25 psi left. The fuel injectors sits in the seat sealed by the pressure from the rail. You can remove the rail and injectors in one go, however I do NOT recommend that, rather Posen the latch/lock on top of each injector and the work with them individually. After that you just reassemble in reverse order and you should have a great running engine. You might want to check your spark plugs and coils while you are there since the Land Rover is somewhat sensitive to all three problems. Hope that helps, drive safely, best regards Rene

Oh sorry, I will make a video on how to get the Injector out then. It is fairly straight forward. Work on a cold engine. Depressurise the fuel manifold on the went. Disconnect all 4 connectors on the injectors. loosen the two Torx-screws holding the manifold in place. pull out the injectors, if you are good just the one injector. you can reuse the seal if it is not destroyed, but recommended to replace it, I reused mine. then all in reverse order.. hope that helps drive safely best regards Rene

Thanks for watching and commenting. Yes it’s is actually simple, but take your time and you will have an excellent result. You can use the fuel injector cleaner for the fuel tank, however it doesn’t always clean the injector completely. By using the spray can and quickly clean the injector you can actually see the spraying capabilities as they improve after a few energizing contacts from battery. Ok , you should be able to get the pressure off somewhere. However if Not- then work on the cold engine and the pressure will disappear when you dismount the first injector, however it’s unavoidable to have spillage though. Remember to work on cold engine. Drive safely best regards Rene
