I used to buy and wear Red Wings back in THE Early -80sh. Co workers asked wow, how can you afford to buy Red Wings ? I Said, because I work 2 Jobs and I don't drink alcohol and Smoke dope and cigaretts 😅 Back Then, buying Red Wing boots was like buying a Cadillac car. Only People with money could afford to buy 😊

Great episode guys! I’ll be taking delivery of some Alpine Portage Mocs tomorrow. I wasn’t sure on the colour but I visited the Redwing Store in London and they looked great with my super faded IH Jeans👌🏻

Great informative video guys. I went down a half size from my brannock on my iron rangers and that is a good fit but like you said on these I’m hearing TTS. I’m going to try these on tomorrow. I want the all black pair.

I made the jump from Thursdays to grant stone. Man the harder leather soul is a bit of a shock but I think worth it.

Yeah, I know people complain about the “break-in”… but, I never had an issue with it. Red Wings are always comfortable right out of the box for me.

Hey guys, do you know if the newer versions of the chelsea come with the canvas interior liner as opposed to the mesh lining. I've seen recent reviews showing the canvas liner but purchased a pair online that arrived with the mesh interior that I'm not a fan of.

Hi, inside the toe vamp it is a synthetic mesh material. It’s not necessarily a bad thing- they use that material to allow for airflow, also for comfort.

Was the sizing weird; I bought my regular size on the 8 last and had to size up a half size because it was extremely tight; but then got a 10 and I’m swimming lol what gives

That is odd. Typically you would need to size down 1/2-1 size with this boot. If you’re a size 10 in brannock device measurement, I would recommend a 9.5 or even 9. Although, I don’t own a pair of Classic Chelsea, I’ve tried them on at the local RW store. My foot size is 9D, I would wear a 8D. They will fit tight when new, as long as your toes aren’t touching the front of the boot.

As much as I don’t like the foam materials, I don’t think it’s terrible. Red wing should stick to their standard construction in my opinion but as long as they don’t sell out and make this the standard construction it’s alright. Im more concerned about how lazy red wing is lately. They’re a gigantic corporation and they really should be doing more with what they have. Its not like the demand isn’t there, RW is just lazy these days.
