So glad to hear you're better. And, OMG, that just so adorable little Pip is with you!!! I love it when you share him with us. A lot of contrast with the ride, open wide paths with meadows and then narrow tight paths amongst the redwoods. Love ya', Aunt Sandee ❤️
Good props for the SC. Sometimes I forget how lucky I am to be able to hit all these trails from just a 10 minute bike ride from my front door. Gota love the Cruz!!!
Always love when you include little Pip in your footage he seems like such a great best friend. Not to mention such a great name for a little guy like him Add
You're looking fresh and relaxed brother, happy to see you healing up after those nasty crashes. If I can keep my insanely busy June schedule I'll be in Santa Cruz the last weekend of this month, super excited. I'm going check whats available at Brookdale Lodge.
That had to be the Enchanted loop trail, such a beautiful transition in person to go from bright and sunny dark and shady at the entrance of the loop. 👌🏾 It's definitely steeper than you would think also lol
rode that loop in april when everything was lush green. every time my brakes squeak, i'd hear wild turkeys calling back. had a lot of fun in enchanted loop, until those consecutive drops and roots bumped my feet off of my pedals and suffered a gash on my shin from my DMR Vault pedals. was riding a hardtail which was probably a mistake now that i think about it. haha
One of my favorite places for a long day in the saddle. Nice lines on Enchanted! That root jump is my favorite feature on that trail, next time you go to Wilder check out Zane gray cut off!
I was riding in Colorado and came up on the hind leg of some baby elk. I'm sure a mountain lion just pulled the body off the trail and left that behind.
Seemed like the rider that came past you at 5:30 on that little jump had a mini cow bell on his bike to alert the MTN lion or other critters he was coming. Good thinking must be a local.
Take out the beat-up jumps and mailboxes is basically an xc loop haha, not to mention the rangers that watch for riders on the exit... Much better trails in the area
For those of you planning to come visit SC. Please be respectful of the local scene as we actually have very few legal trails. Have fun. Don’t geo tag everything and name trails. Don’t roll 30 deep with blue tooth speakers bumping while blowing past hikers. We have had many trails taken out by “authorities” and they will start ticketing when a spot is blown up. Thanks. Enjoy SC.
