very few... crossfit its a mid/high middle class and above thing. Its very expensive, shit a regular monthly crossfit gym membership will run at around $100 a month
@Braddaddyx: are you sure of that? I mean if your an elite athlete, there is more money to make if you specialized in a sport like football, basketball, boxing... even in sprint or marathon, so i would rather say : For the moment as it's getting bigger in popularity, i think they are more like second class athlete. But it's probably gonna be different in 5 years.
Of course these guys are amazing athletes, but at the moment they are in a shallow talent pool, wait until the brazilians, eastern europeans come to the table then we will see if some of these names are still around.
The only sport that USA doesn't dominate is soccer....why would you make this assumption that crossfit (a sport that originated in the USA..) would be under any kind of fire from foreigners to take the top spots? Not to mention that Froning will never be beaten as long as he competes. The guy is just gifted. So I just don't understand the "talent pool" thing. If anything it will be more gifted and talented Americans that take the top spots from the current leaders.

So honestly...who gives a shit about rugby or cricket....and tbh most of the population doesn't give a shit about Olympic weightlifting either. So mention something that actually matters.
Matthew McCaghren to be fair no one in the rest of the world cares about NFL, and baseball isnt that popular outside of North America, except for Japan. Also the US gets dominated by a country 1/10 its size(Canada) in hockey...
