Snagged these shoes a month go when they popped up on Reebok Canada. The 2 was my original cf shoe a decade ago. As soon as I put them on I was in love again. Been wearing a regular nobull for a few years and forgot what comfort was.
@rotweilerscholar1181 funny you should ask. I noticed the other day that a piece of the rubber sole has started to separate away from the bottom of the shoe. I'm just going to glue it down but my old pair never did that.
These arrive today. Can't wait to try them out, as my initiation into Nanos, started with the 10's. Love my X3's, but looking forward to comparing. Great review, as always. Keep up the great work.
@patlsk - I definitely like the X3's better. The 2.0 felt almost like a minimalist/barefoot shoe to me. There was a time when I trained in those types of shoes, but now that I'm getting up there in years, and having torn myself up a little in the fight game, my knees and back need a little more support and cushioning.
Joel was right about the sizing. I wear a size 9 in most of my sneakers. I have a pair of Reebok speed tr that fit well in a size 9 with the tiniest bit of space in front of my toe. With the nano 2.0 in a size 9 my toe is touching the front of the shoe.
Finally pulled the trigger and got a pair for 50% off. Kinda bummed about the men’s colorways. Like the women’s white version the best. Hopefully they will release a few more colors but I won’t hold my breath for that.
I just noticed they changed the font on the sole to match the Reebok with the Delta logo vs the Reebok CrossFit logo. Also this is easily my favorite shoe since it's inception. I am sure the 2.023 does not disappoint.
I own and love my Nano 6s in Sz 10.5, which fit great. Unfortunately, based on the advice in the comments I went a half size up in the 2 reissues and they’re too big, so now I have to resell them rather than being able to send them back to the USA. I should have stuck with the 10.5s
Eh, I'm in the minority and didn't really think the 2.0 was all that great. But I didn't get into crossfit until the 5 was released. I always thought the 2.0 was just a soft shoe. But if they do a remake of the 4.0 I'm in on that one.
I bought re release several years ago and forgot about them. At this point I would get another pair of haze trainers over these not really digging the style/colors
Hello, great review! Would you recommend me to get a Nano X3 or Nano 2.0? I do not lift superheavy weights yet and i own a Metcon 6 as my training shoes now
Someone commented that they felt more narrow in the midfoot but I didn’t experience that. I don’t have flat feet but I think the midfoot is fine as the shoes are very neutral IMO.
Amazing review. If you had to include these amongst the haze, tyr, and rad one where would they land? If I had money to buy one of these for CrossFit which ones would it be? Thanks.
They’re not better than any IMO but it depends what you need. If I had to perform 100% I would be most confident in Rad, haze, x3, tyr…I’d wear nano 2 day to day and coaching because they’re comfy.
My first-ever crossfit shoes were the metcons 3, how does these compare against? And what would you pick between nano 2 or tribase reign 5? Great video! Always watching
Honestly I think the more competitive shoe is the Reign 5. Metcon 3s were great, stable, but not great for running and these are just not as stable, but better for all else. These would be the best metabolic conditioning shoe if that makes sense. Not a heavy lifter but capable enough and comfortable for all else.
Hi all your reviews are really informative and helpful, just got the nano 2.0, and i like them, however you nay not be able to help with my next question, i need an everyday shoe/ trainer/casual, for general wear, no CrossFit gym ect, i have flat akward feet, and my pinky toe splays and all brands I've shopped for so far pinch it, untill the nano 2.0, but im using them solely for the gym and i could only get bright red lol, not outside, any suggestions open to any brands, however i know Adidas Nike will be too narrow straight off, Thanks.
....can it casual? been looking for an alternative to Altra's and Topo Athletic, I dont want to go super minimalist outside the gym (ie Vivo's or Xero's) and i also want a little bit of a drop when i'm walking around town on cement and concrete..
how would you say they compare to the Haze Trainers for lifting and running? Especially curious about the latter since I dig the Haze Trainers for running in WODs
