That is poorly designed on that part. The nut should have been encased in the 3d printed part. The 3d printed part should be 2 parts where the nut slips inside and then a 3d printed top part that screws into the a 3d printed bottom part. Then it would not go anywhere. Another and better option would have been to use heat set nuts that melt into the 3d printed part. There are different ways to go about it and it would have held just fine. That is obviously a design flaw.
I got an email back saying the replacement part has already shipped and they would do a video call with me and walk me through the repair. So apparently going that route. Lol
That’s like telling you yeah go ahead and fix the Tesla we’ll walk you through it…🤔. That part should be made of more durable material, not plastic. Poor service-give the buyer a new machine and show you care if you want more business.
Already a hard no in this unit. A company that stands by their product would just say we are sorry send it back and we will send you a replacement and that would be the end of it.
That’s what I thought. I know shipping would be high coming from another country, but to have a unit defective on arrival, I would think that would warrant a replacement.
To pay $1200 for that thing and suggesting to super glue a part would’ve made me loose it with them. If I was you, I would just send that thing back for a full refund. What you should also do is look at @reefandreptileautomation and review derricks video on how this thing caught on fire and lack of customer service they have being they are based in Lebanon and the time difference makes it difficult to get a hold of them
I don't care what anybody says. 3D printed parts are weak and look like shit. I'm not paying for that ugly garbage. Maybe in 10 years it'll be better but no finished products should look like that.
