Yepp the videos are informative so you know how not to do 😄 Sewing machine oil? That is not the right oil to start with..

this same way for the sharp rd? mine moves slow and gets stuck guessing the motor needs lube badly.

No! Don't use sewing machine oil. Some have special additives designed for sewing machines and it can gum up. Also do not use 3 in 1 in the red can. Use Zoom Spout. Some later Teacs use sealed motors. My Teac A6300 has sealed bearings for the reel table motors, and the capstan motor has to be oiled.

Don't assume that your motor needs oiled because of this video not all motors need oiled on various Reel to Reels
