Thanks so much for this review! i got a similar model (EL3573) that i'm currently restoring and this video helped me to take a look inside a functioning unit and listening how it sounds. I didn't know the microphone and turntable signals could be recorded and mixed at the same time! Do you know what it's the function of the first conector named "stereo"? i'm guesssing it's also for recording but i doubt how it actually works. Greetings from Argentina!
Good day! Thank you for your kind words! I'm especially pleased that my videos were useful in other countries! Regarding "Stereo", the instructions for the tape recorder indicate that it is stereophonic, but only up to the linear output. That is, it can also be used as a “stereo” tape recorder, but only when combined with an external amplifier.
@@AndreiMinkin Thanks to you for giving such a complete review of this recorder, and the English subtitles were really helpful. Oh ok, it has some really cool features and functions, I'm almost done with the restoration process on mine, and the first test after a deep cleaning and changing of belts revealed that it sounds very muddy and dark, the "tone" pot doesn't seem to be working and I think it might need a complete recap job.

It's so vintage for this tape recorder. Is It used for tape 7 or 6 inches ?
