i think youd be surprised. The only real issue as of current you would probably run into is putting more than 15-20 cars on the field at once. Its only a damage model after all, you dont really have to add in much in terms of realistic physics and such that doesnt "already exist" lol
I have tried making mods for this game before but that was really cool, you should try and paint the championship 16 from this past year and release it and put it up for download as like a nascar championship set.
this is not a fair comparison, Stock cars and regular cars are very different in terms of structural integrity, A regular car may have the cockpit crumple it, but almost never stock cars will never have that happen, They are built to withstand much faster and more intense crashes, While a regular car is really only built to let you survive 70 mph crashes, Not 200+ mph crashes
Of course! 100% correct, however I had to use the best that was available to reenact the NASCAR crashes. Unfortunately, there is no stock car content or mods for BeamNG as of yet. Therefor I compensated for speed to make the simulation as accurate as possible to real life :)
regular car's tires with car that have way less aero pushing it down vs super grippy non street legal soft compond tires that you change every few minutes
