Reese Witherspoon Cried in Her Daughter's Empty Room When She Left for College 

I know they are mother and daughter, but that resemblance is so strong.

My mom cried the entire five hour drive back home across PA when she dropped me off for college. She drove out there, but COULD NOT drive home! I love her SO much!

Reese is so wholesome. And Jennifer Garner too. They're beautiful.

Me and sister started at the same uni on the same day in a city about 2 hours drive from our home time. Our dad works abroad so our mum hired a van and moved us in by herself. She help us clean our rooms, unpack, said her goodbyes, left us to meet our new hall mates and then drove back home... It wasn’t until two years later that she admitted to getting back into the van and crying for 3 hours before she was finally able to commence the drive back home 😭😭😭💕

I’ve always loved Reese Witherspoon. She seems so sweet and genuine.

The first year my son went to college, I cried every time we dropped him off. I used to sit on the steps to his room and cry. I missed him so much. After 4 years of college, he did come back home.

My dad cried for a solid 24 hours when he dropped me off at Uni.

My mom got through setting up my room before she started crying then I started crying. Call your mom guys, give her a hug, tell her you love her. If I had known how little time I’d have mine I would have shown her more love than I already did.

For anyone who's wondering: it was STAR Magazine and the "not pregant, just bloated" was the magazine's way of "payback" when reese *legally* threatened to sue the magazine.

I did the same thing when my daughter left. Wept in her empty room. It felt like such a loss, but we are even closer now and have such a great adult friendship forming than when she lived here. It all works out in the end:)

The talk about magazines is hilarious. My mum would be crying of happy tears if I moved out permanently. She'd be like "good, finally".

I remember my mom crying when i first moved out of the house and had to study out of the country for a year! I thought it was just my mom. I didn't know most mothers feel that way when their kids go to college or move out.

Reese is so adorable. I mean hey, she's been in the Hollyweird business forever. Seen all her films. "Election" was on cable 2 days ago. Still fun & seriously funny!! I think Reese is like a Meryl Streep. Both can play all sorts of character roles. Totally 😃 incredible.

My daughter started nursery last Sept and I cried after dropping her off. She’s only there for 3 hours. I think when she actually leaves I will have to check into a facility to have a properly controlled breakdown. Being a parent makes you stronger and weaker at the same time. ❤️
