Hi, I have been watching tour video's on refitting a Dufour 35 and I am wondering the following: Why are you doing this?!! Do you likeur sailing or do you like working on a boat? Wouldn't it have been better andere cheaper to have bought another boat? Or just have lower standards on this boat? When woud you expect to sail the boat? all the best and respect, Joost
Yes, you are right. We are liking working and sailing both. We had a rather cheap start with this boat, but yes, costs are adding up fast. Our filosofy: what we are doing by ourself is rewarding and in the end we will have a almost new boat at our wishes. I think we need another 4 or 5 years to do all work needed.
Dommerik! Deze boot was in perfect zeewaardige staat. Ik heb er zelf ook al +20jaar 1 van 1975 en heb er elke dag plezier van! Typische beginnersfout! Alles afbreken en dan de bomen niet meer door het bos zien…
Het schip is verkocht omdat mijn man 3 jaar terug is overleden en ik het project niet af kon maken. Het schip is naar Duitsland gegaan en ik heb geen idee hoe het er nu mee staat.
