It looks like you have a couple days growth in this video. Which plate would you choose for a daily shaver, the .99 or the .86? I have a sneaking suspicion that the new Karve Overlander was inspired by the Blutt. The cap is a little taller on the Overlander, but the functional design intention sounds right in the same lane as the Blutt, slots instead of posts for the blade alignment, and a priority given to blade clamping. I do like the Nacet blades too. Don't try the Wizamet SI blades. They may spoil you for all other current production DE blades.

For me , I'd go with the .99. The .86 is good but I didn't feel it had the efficiency I needed to achieve a 3 pass Shave without a ton of extra buffing. The .99 was smooth and perfectly efficient for me.

Karve C plate has positive blade exposure (0.09mm), the B plate is neutral.

@@thesaskshaver Yeah I mean Karve with "C" plate is still super smooth but I just wouldn't want some guy with overly sensitive skin running out and getting that set up based on you saying that. Great shave and enjoyed the video, though.

Nice shave - I did snag the Blutt back when with a .99 plate sometime back. I believe it's a fantastic DE. I recently bought the 1.20. The .99 plate, I think, is phenomenal for its “non” blade feel yet efficient. The 1.20 mowed down six days like nothing. It was almost ridiculous. My first use wasn't as pleasant, but second, oh boy. I'm a vast Karve fan, so this was like stepping out of the box for me😆 Saludos ~ JB

Excellent DE shave Lyle! It’s great when there’s a pass around and one gets to try new gear. The downside is it can end up being an expensive endeavor. 😁

Hey Brian! Thank you Sir. 32C is warm.. we where up there until 2 days ago. Yesterday was low 20s and today was 14 last time I looked.

I had a go with this razor while it was on thw east coast. Very nice looking, and shaved very well. The handle wasn't for me, but that's not enough to tear it down! Great shave Lyle
