Leigh Cohn shares his oil painting process for a 12-foot-wide diptych based on Claude Monet's "Green Reflections," which is a 27-foot composition on permanent exhibit at Musee l'Orangerie in Paris. For this commission, Leigh made adjustments to the original to create a unique piece in his own style.
This short video shows the steps from sample color palettes to the final, installed painting. Also, the clients enhanced the presentation in surprising ways to give viewers the sensation of being immersed in the water lily pond.
