Doubt, your numbers are entirely accurate. The liberal dem party incumbent who kept their seats are not just winning more votes. They are merely maintaining their status as the third largest party in Britain. Are you seriously wanting the reform party to win??? They are a joke. 😂
Because fptp means a spread out voter base cannot win seats - the Lib Dem’s have an efficient localised election machine that bolsters grassroots movements to maximise specific places they could feasibly win. In contrast, with a couple exceptions, Reform U.K. is a lot more spread out and national in its campaigning and messaging, as UKIP was before it.
@@donaghocallaghan8302 I mean yes? It’s not exactly a British hard working attitude to pick and choose which parts of your job you like to do. It’s very spoiled. Heck, he didn’t even turn it into a big or massive public protest against EU regulations or whatever, he literally just didn’t turn up. Took the job from some other hard working British citizen that would have tried to make a difference at least, and not use it as an ego stroke. “I’ve been promoted to head of marketing! But I’m looking for a new job, so I’m not coming into work, but you still have to pay me and give me the company card benefits” Spoiled snowflake attitude.
Yes because the EU parliament basically has no power. It can’t propose new legislation, only vote on legislation passed down by the EU Commission. And at the time the euro sceptic bloc was too small to influence any votes. So why would he bother?
The man’s entire campaign is nostalgia. For goodness sake, he was up and down calling 65+ year old women his “Brexit babes” Seriously, beyond “we used to be this” he’s got no real plan to get there, just that he wants to be there. I’m hardly saying the other politicians are GOOD, but for feck sakes, the reason we stopped being what we used to be is because it STOPPED WORKING. Trying to be the UK of 40-50 years ago in this era will give us nothing, he’s LITERALLY trying to set us on the past. Can’t get fish and chips for £3 anymore mate, and you can’t afford a house on a single low income job by just not eating takeaways. It’s several decades on, him and his voters need to understand that.
Exactly. If he was 1% as concerned with the cost of living crisis as he was with “restoring former glory” (by which he means imperialism and a brutal colonial empire) he would just not run and let actual competent politicians take it from here while he enjoys his big MEP pension. But no, he has to fuel his ego and leech of the British public with every shred of dignity he has left 🙄 He’s a pathetic, weak old man who’s caused more harm to Britain than the English civil war. We can only count our lucky stars that he’s relegated to the role of tiny, albeit loud, pest on the British political system.
Oh no what are Clacton gonna do without you Robbin hood and your band of merry lefties, who live by your every word? You’re gonna be fooooked in 4 years time when he’s PM aren’t you? You’ll have to go live in another country if you can’t go anywhere that he’s in power. Don’t let the door hit you on the arse on the way out, love.
You do know the NHS does actually receive more money now because of brexit? I'm not getting into a slinging match on the whole debate but this notion that none of that money went to the NHS is the biggest political misrepresenting out there at the minute.
@@MrJusticex1 Farage voters seem to be mostly angry. Statistically, they are mostly from the poorest areas of the country , so they have a reason to be angry, but also they’re probably not educated enough to know otherwise. 🤷♂️ It’s a a tricky loophole.
Doesn't he also hold German citizenship and said that he doesn't want to come back to the UK because Brexit didn't turn out to be as good as he had planned?
British people hold absolutely no grudges against serial liars. Boris Johnson, Keir Starmer, Nigel Farage - these are their idols, not villains. Lying is the British way of life.
🤖 Nigel Farage does not have German citizenship. The search results do not provide any evidence that Farage himself has obtained German citizenship. However, there are some related facts about Farage's family and German connections: *1.* Two of Farage's children have both British and German passports, due to their mother being German. This allows them to benefit from EU freedom of movement rights post-Brexit. *2.* Farage's wife, Kirsten Mehr, is German. They have since separated, as reported in 2017. *3.* There were rumors and speculation in 2016 that Farage had applied for German citizenship, but these claims were denied by sources close to Farage. When asked directly about visiting the German embassy, Farage reportedly responded, "none of your business" and hung up the phone. *4.* A controversial report claimed Farage applied for a German passport the day after the 2016 EU referendum, but this information has not been independently verified. It's important to note that Farage has not publicly confirmed having German citizenship himself, and there is no concrete evidence to support such a claim. The focus has primarily been on his children's dual citizenship status. 🧠 _Perplexity AI_
Never forget Clacton... Before deciding he had a chance at gaining power, he literally used you as an example of a place he never wanted to even visit: "Do I want to be an MP? Do I want to spend every Friday for the next five years in Clacton?" Turkeys, you have voted for Christmas.
I voted labour in the last election and I voted remain. However, I started to actually listen to what this man says instead of just what the big headlines say about him and made my own mind up. Now I think he is exactly what this country needs. I wish people could actually debate things properly in these comment sections rather than just hurling abuse at people they disagree with.
@@owenthomas5103 ill have to look into it, I was very anti-trump before. But again, something swayed my opinion and it looked like it actually did a good job. It seems like there is a lot more going on to what meets the eye🤷♂️

Good luck to anyone who has him as their local MP who actually wants a response from him when they have any problems in their community! He’s going to have to work hard for that spot if he wants to keep his seat safe in tandem with his broader ambitions! If his local constituency are let down by him then he’ll have no future in Parliament.
Who hasn't thrown a salute for a laugh? We all make mistakes! You grow, change and learn from your mistakes. People change, you can't judge someone for something immature they done in their youth.
@@keyboardpatriot who hasn't thrown a sig heil for laughs? Anybody who's not an absolute guttersnipe, that's who. Oh, and Farage and his gang specifically went around campus intimidating Jewish students with Nazi salutes.
I'm not sure why. Clacton has become a dumping ground for convicts. Unbelievably watch Ross Kemp - Extreme World S04E07. It went from a lovely seaside town to a forgotten hellhole. There are 138 crimes per 1000 people. Convicts released from prison were being rehoused there. The forgotten town with no development or investment. Not a surprise the people desperately want a change.
@@partyguinness lol, but there were people that didn’t vote for him, and some that didn’t vote at all, and they’re stuck with him now! Like we were when 37% of the public smashed Brexit into us. 🤷♂️
To be fair Reform won so many votes but because we have FPTP they got only 3 or is it 4 seats? I can't stand his politics but I believe in fairness. We need PR in order to be a true democracy
Unlike people on the hard right we don't need to bow down to our leaders Reform is lead by Nigel Farrage, who doesn't consult with his membership . He doesn't even have a branch structure and I doubt we'll see a Reform UK conference where policies are debated and voted on .
@@garykelly6669 That's because they are a new party started up 5 years ago as a pressure group, and have only recently emerged in the spotlight, giving them little time to capitalise on their potential election fortunes, which they did. Nigel has repeatedly said, both before and after the election, that after the 4th of July he will work on democratisation of Reform, and the opening of Regional branches. Reform PLC, not a PLC FOR long. Whereas in Labour, if you say something mildly in opposition to Keir Stalin, you get sacked, worshipping General Secretary Keir is a MUST.
@@captainnice1881 Well let's see Nigel Farage says a lot of things like we'd all be better off after Brexit, what he meant him and his billionaire friends so I think we can take the Democratisation of HIS party with a large pinch of salt. Nigel Farage is one of the strong and charismatic leaders of UK who will be able to do something good for his country. The people who voted his party into the Parliament got it right in their assessment of the party.
I can give you one. His whole Brexit campaign was absolute BS. One his pledges were if we left the EU there would be an extra £350m for the NHS every week. Turned out to be a lie.
@@GenkiStarLeafyou obviously let your bias cloud your mind during Brexit because what he actually said was "if we leave the E.U there will be an extra £350m that COULD be used for things like the NHS". This is why remainers have zero credibility, you just make up bollocks to suit your own agenda.
indeed it is disturbing just how many mid wit smug liberals we have in existence. unsurprising i suppose when schools have become places of indoctrination rather than education.
First past the post, morons. An alternative voting system would mean that Reform would end up with even less. But it's amazing how Reform morons split the Right vote to give labor and Lib dems the biggest win in history 😂😂😂
Big up Nigel, the country needs him, without him we are weak and embarrassing, British politicians are delusional and it’s about time we had some change for the greater good 🏴💙
Remember when he promised 350 million pounds for the NHS, if people voted for Brexit💰? The promise that was up on the side of giant tour busses around England? Has he paid the 350 million yet, or no? 🤔Someone please ask him, as he takes on this new role.
Nobody is asking for the 50s. Just that British people are put first, that we don’t involve ourselves in Globalist wars and that we reduce immigration to suit our infrastructure. It’s called common sense. Instead of the Gloablist unelected beings that push on us what we don’t ask for. It’s time the wokery stopped!!
And heres me thinking outsourcing industry and giving billions to other country while letting anyone into the country was destrmental to the economy, totally not the reason why 1 in 10 councils are going bankrupt and crime is on the rise, you do know Cities can benefit big from the EU right but not for people who live in smsll boroughs or towns, especially if they don't have a high crime rate moronic protestors everday so please crying about the vote you idiots lost 8 years ago😂, imagine my shock when politicians don't care you muppet Remember when Labour dragged the UK into a BS conflict that sent young men to die in both Iraq and Afghanistan? Well done Nigel. He is absolutely right to complain about the ridiculous mis- proportionally of the number of votes cast and the amount of seats you get. What we should do is scrap the House of Lords and replace it with a genuine House of Representatives, which could have limited power’s to propose certain changes to the law which could be sent up to the commons to be voted on. After all they are seriously under employed in the House of Commons.
