When our call drops during a live scambait stream on twitch: goo.gl/uhpWGT our call is intercepted by what seems to be a reformed IRS scammer who shares a bit about what's going on.
Wow. He's talking quietly to avoid detection by his co-workers. He got louder because he moved the phone closer to his face. That's scary, I hope this guy is okay.
No... It's obvious what happened. He peered over the cubical walls, and at a distance saw three security guards advancing towards him. Realizing that it was over, he quietly sharpened all of his pencils and placed them neatly in his shirt pocked. His hands slowly rose above his head in order to show submission, he meekly lowered his gaze to the floor, thinking about his wife and children. But in a frenzied desperate play for survival, moving at blur speed, aiming each pencil towards their scowling targets, he stabbed each of the security guards IN THE FACE. Bolting to the exit that leads downstairs to freedom, the Rolex wearing... creepy... rat faced boss JUMPED in front of him. Snarling like a cornered tiger, he grabbed the shirt collar, pushing him backwards till he fell onto his back hitting the stairs with a crunch. He rode his boss to the bottom, like a bloody senseless sled, allowing our hero's INSTANT escape into the bustling market place. Now he works as a consultant for the police, infiltrating these fraudulent call centers, teaching the detectives in detail how the operation works. But he has resumed what he loves most which is teaching. But he makes such a decent salary working for the police, he is able to volunteer tutoring children who need it most.
Same. He said he was a Christian which makes him a huge religious minority in india where Christians do face persecution. There was a video made by a scam baiter earlier this year that gained access to a scammer call centers CCTV cameras and their recorded phone calls. They monitor those phone calls like a real call center and spend money for those pop up blockers to lock up peoples computers and drive in calls to the scam centers. I really hope nothing happened to the guy for trying to help people not get scammed. At the very least I imagine they would beat him up and fire him on the spot if they caught him doing this.
@@sojournerinaforeignland5144 I believe your referring to Jim Browning video and if so that was an amazing inside look to what goes on in these horrible places and the only light I see is when the very few of them finally decide to leave... It isn't often that they make that choice but when they do it definitely feels like we finally got a win and are slowly crackin down on the scamming business!! We all need to keep spreading the word as well in our towns and have those people spread the word so that eventually their scams just simply won't work anymore! That is my wish, that the scamming finally ends one day before anyone else takes their life because I know the lady who took her life here in Texas and it's sad that such an amazing good hearted woman felt so deprived and robbed that she took her own life!!! This needs to end!😔
Dude after binging so many of these videos, that moment made me so much more happy than a scammer rage quitting. I really hope the best for that dude. I hope he is well and found a legitimate job.
One time I was messing with an IRS scammer. At one point we both dropped our "act" and started talking. He told me how bad he felt doing what he was doing and how his sister is so disappointed him and what he was doing. He said he worked in a normal bank call center for a large American bank. (think about that) But had lost his job there and started working for a scammer. He said he was gonna quit. And at the end asked me to pray with him. It was surreal.
Jan Miller I think that’s kind of the problem with the scam baiting videos. I enjoy them, but sometimes I wonder why they’re so villainized when it’s not unlikely that they feel they have no other choice to feed their family. I’m sure there are real slime balls running and operating these scams but not unlike big business they have employees who may not even realize the consequences of their actions past keeping their family alive.
Omg, I think I'm going to cry... he sounded so sincere and when we was talking about the woman who committed suicide, he was so heartbroken that it had happened.
I wanted to believe he was sincere but it's really hard to believe anything they say after you've seen so many of these videos on different channels. he never contacted Kit, or at least that's what he said at the posting of this video.
@@locabynature idk he seemed pretty sincere to me. Like kit said what would he have to gain from this? He’s probably ashamed of what he did and didn’t want to talk about it
I don't think he's defeated, I think he is simply trying to stay quiet. He has coworkers after all, and theres lots of other calls where coworkers ("supervisors") have interfered with heated calls to try to rescue them. That'd be bad new for our reformed scammer.
Wow he sounded genuine. He just seemed very sad about what the scams did to the victims. It restored a bit of faith in humanity. I just hope I/we weren't fooled.
Andrew Blackwell Because scammers in India do in fact get arrested every once in a while believe it or not. He might've been scared that he would eventually get arrested and perhaps tried playing the victim. I do hope he was genuine though.
It could be a case of poverty. Not everyone who gets into these scams is out to deceive and steal from people, some just can't get work and these places will grab anyone who can read and lie to someone over the phone. Some just need to provide for their families and are willing to do whatever they need to do so. After all, this is much safer and more comfortable than prostitution or local robbery.
I love how excited Kitboga was when the other guy revealed this was a scam call. Kitboga just dropped the act immediately and offered him a number to text so they could chat later, that must have made his day. It is sad that he was never able to make contact again. This is his end game now, make scammers see how wrong what they are doing is and make them quit. I watched like 30 of these videos and this is the best one yet. Cheers
Wow, I'm legitimately blown away, I can't believe it. This man has a heart. To hear that it hit him to hear that this lady killed her self after she got scammed, and it broke his heart enough to turn on his own company. Made my heart swell a little. Good on him, and I hope he keeps knocking these calls out of his call center.
There was genuine emotion in his voice once he came forward, especially when he was talking about the 80 year old lady’s demise. I hope he’s doing well today.
Wow, if he's real I just wanna give him a hug. He sounds so depressed and I feel so bad for him. I wish there was some way to reward him and help him get a legit job. He deserves good things coming to him. I hope he is ok.
They prey on American Christians but God is weighing on their hearts and some are waking up and can feel that they are in the wrong. Gotta pray for them.
Hope the honest guy has some luck and finds good employment. Guy sounds broken. Anybody with an ounce of morality would. Compare him to everybody else on these calls.
Thats sketchy, the phone started going out then he said the senior supervisor was coming and he had to take a break. Hopefully someone wasn’t listening to the phone call. I don’t know how things are over there but hopefully he is safe and alive still
If the calls are recorded like they say, then he's probably going to get caught, but that would mean they can tell the truth which something scammers can't do.
The Gaytheist I don’t think they are recorded I don’t believe they have that technology or excuse me they wouldn’t pay for it. Another thing I’m pretty sure this guy wouldn’t give all of this information if it was recorded, I’m guessing he would just go home and cry it out and hopefully the next day go find a legit job to make an honest living. Hopefully.
Lukas Cage if they're using a dialer or Vicidial which is a favorite among them, calls are automatically recorded. But then theyre routinely deleted and if the person has the admin pw, he can delete that one particular call ryt away. Though with that volume of calls coming it would be a waste of time to monitor them. Unless something stands out bec. the call is either too long or too short and no money came in.

This Indian guy deserves more credit. Sure, he committed a crime and scammed people, but he did it to survive and truly feels sorry for the victims. If only we could help him scam his employe to restore some balance.
I hope he found his way to a better life. I understand it can be incredibly hard to pull yourself out of poverty in India, and poverty in India is a whole different level than it is in the United States.
He basically is scamming his company in the safest way he can to get his needed wages, hes telling his callers the truth, which takes money away from the company
I've returned to this video so many times. It sticks in my mind. I think about it a lot. I sincerely hope this man found a better job. He clearly has a heart. He doesn't deserve what the scam center puts him through. I really want to know if Kit heard from him again.
If an old lady died so this man could find peace, and betterment, then perhaps she didn’t die in vain. To think a man she never met... who never knew her.. who lives thousands of miles away would find her as a catalyst for turning his life around. I think if she could... even if I never met her, it would be enough to make her smile.
There's a potential here dude. You could set up a personal interview with that man, maybe a few weeks after he resigns from that job. There is a lot we don't know about this scam industry, the economic conditions and employment problems there, etc. That is some serious journalism job. Really looking forward to that if you're gonna make one.
O don.T know. He genuinely sounded just beat. And what did he have to gain from doing that? Nothing and quite a bit to loose if he was overheard. Plus what he says checks out with some of the investigative reports on who the call cente workers are.
WTF does this say about the situation in India when a citizen is smart enough to become bilingual AND tech savvy and even then they won't be given a legit job because of bullshit reasons like "you have to pay a job" in order to get the job. This shit is bonkers but blessings on this guy for making the right decision. I hope he found his way and that good things are in store for him.
well seeing how fucked up a world we live in I doubt it. He lives in corrupt country with little way out. His options are starve, or go find another corrupt job. Really brings the whole "god loves us" BS into perspective.
Overpopulation is a huge issue that people are afraid to discuss. There are just too many people in India! There are only so many jobs and once those are filled, what are the rest of the 1 billion people supposed to do? And please be smart enough to refrain from saying they could buy some property and live off the land. There's too many people to all go "live off the land", and how are they going to afford to buy land! We need to be careful to not assume that everyone has the same opportunities, rights, protections, and options we have!!
@Donna Brooks....Overpopulation is not the problem, Japan has very high population density but high living standards. The problem is poor decision by our politicians, especially the founding fathers. The typical Indian is encouraged to get a degree (not learn skills) and get a got government job (not create anything of value). Add to that the corruption problem. We are moving in the right direction now, but still very, very slowly.
@krakistophales Many Indians speak multiple languages dude. I speak three and I wont call myself smart. Hindi is the most widely spoken language in the northern part of the country. All rich and middle-class people can speak English. For me it comes down to Bengali (my mother tongue), Hindi and English. My parents and brother can also speak Sanskrit in addition to these three.
Man, I hope this guy was genuine. He certainly sounded it. I could hear the remorse in his voice when he was talking about the victims of this scam and it didn’t sound fake at all. I hope that he’s safe and can get out of there soon.
Props to this guy! Reformed scammer, if you ever read this message. I'm proud of you. Well done for being so brave for doing this. I wish you a long and happy life.
I really hope he is okay after 2 years. I’m binge watching Kit for the first time and haven’t seen his newest videos, so I hope there’s a video where he makes contact with this gentleman.
I'm afraid the music that popped up at some point that he couldn't hear was indicative of someone else on the line, and as he said towards the end there was a manager nearby. Worries me that he might have gotten into trouble :/
Scamming people can get you a lot of money. My family is rich from scamming people.I stopped following the family business, and now I'm extremely poor. At least I'm not a thief though.
At first I thought he was just telling you a scam so that the other guy wouldn’t get the commission, but then he spent a long time with you giving you information and he seemed genuine. Props to him.
When the hold music kept coming on it seemed like he was unaware of it.. that makes me think that someone was trying to intercept the call and stop him from giving information. I hope he is okay.. you never know what they may do to someone who gets in the way of their scams.. this hurt my heart.
I hope that the reformed scammer got a teaching position again. He sounded legit to me. I've been watching these videos for the past couple of days because my grandma got scammed by the refund scammers. It's refreshing to see that not everyone in the call centers are jerks.
That Indian gentleman was right. On February 23, 2018 in Houston, Texas, there was a report of an 82-year-old woman who committed suicide after falling for a sweepstakes scam in which she lost her life savings paying for the "fee". Her family was devastated. I genuinely hope and pray that this gentleman is doing good and was not harmed by other scammers or the corrupt Indian government. If I had a way to bring him and his family here to America, believe me, I would in half a blink of an eye!
@@davinderc I was just saying that I would bring him and his family here if I could because I live in the USA. I can't bring someone to Canada. XD It'd be nice if India was a better country.
@@SouthwesternEagle and in saying that you assume everyone wants to have a lifestyle like yours. Just because his current situation isn't good doesn't mean he could or should throw everything away. It's his life, not yours. No need to impose your feelings of superiority on his situation
@@davinderc I mentioned Canada because it's almost exactly like my country. If that person didn't want to move to the USA, then Canada is just as good. ^^ I want people to have freedom without Government persecution and without government corruption. Liberty is the key to society (in my opinion). If you have a better idea, please let me know. I take notes on all suggestions.
I actually teared up when the “scammer” was being totally honest. He seemed super depressed about what he was doing and I honestly hope he found something better. He should have his own RU-vid channel in India doing the same thing Kit is doing, as well as informing people about what these companies do. He needs to be an informant.
that would be great but it's literal life or death being an informant. those who are have to remain totally anonymous or their ex-bosses/current bosses will send people after them to intimidate them.
Same. If I could donate some money to him for deciding to do the right thing. I would. Cause I would like to show him doing the right thing you can be rewarded for that.
Wow, this man, I really respect him. I hope you can help him. He did say he was a teacher. They don’t make anything. He was probably too scared to call you back. - my gut tells me he was real. Suggestion. If this happens again, don’t focus on the details (you can get that later). The Skype suggestion was good. Email was good. If you have a 800 # give it to him so it won’t cost him to call you. Anything you can give him so that it will be easy for him to get in touch with you. You never know who is watching him. I suspect it’s not easy to do some things freely if he is in India or Pakistan. Thank you again. Pat
I would say most of the scammers in those call centers have a heart except the seniors and managers because they are the ones making the money. Then you have the regular call center workers who know its wrong but like this guy said do it to make ends meet and put their morals aside to not starve to death and to provide for their family. My wife is Indian and its true what this guy said the country is corrupt to the bone.
You know the economy is bad when an indian citizen is smart and dedicated enough to become multilingual, but a real job wont give them the time of day.
Yeah it's sad :( Kit usually says they should rethink what they're doing because honestly they deserve better. Quite a lot of them probably dont even think they're scamming, they were just taught how to do it when they joined up.
Kit's nice about it though, sometimes people end up putting remote access viruses on the scammer's computers just to fuck with them more, which would suck especially if that scammer thinks he was doing the right thing.
Dinkstr I could be remembering this wrong, but I saw an investigative report on these places and the people below poverty line would use these places to learn english in the first place, as well as basic computing.
He said that they pay for there jobs... wtf is that??? I thought it was hard just to try and find one that will give me the time of day(still haven't gotten one). They be scamming just to pay for a new job
I hope that's real. That was flipping amazing. All because he saw an article. I really really hope that he's reformed and he'll be able to get out and still be okay.
I've watched a lot of these episodes and this is the first one I've seen where the guy just comes out, right away, and says he's scamming. Then tries to help Kitboga. Wow! This is incredible!
Unless they are located in the country that uses that particular slang, but yeah I agree with you. Those who speak a second language in their native country could never get the "real experience" unless they actually moved to the place that uses their second language. There is a difference between knowing the language and applying it fluently or practically.
@@DuskyPanther13 Well, it totally depends on which region of India you are from and your educational background. North American pop culture is pretty big in urban India. Even young Indians who go to mediocre universities would be aware of these slangs. Not sure if he's heard these slangs, though.
@@distressedrook Yeah, I see what you are saying. I'm just saying that language is developing rapidly and usually any new slang that gets added will have a higher chance of just being understood in the area it was made. However, there are totally people who are willing to learn that kinda thing.
@@DuskyPanther13 Nowadays, our parents blame us for 'being too western'! Western counterculture is a rage in Urban India these days -- willing or not we are exposed to it. If it's on Netflix, it's on people's tongue. It's been a pleasure to watch it all happen in the last 10 years!
Heart warming and terribly sad at the same time.. The Indian government really needs to be doing more to interrupt these outfits.. Like, if there's in excess of 130 people working in just that one place, multiply that by the number of call centres and it's hardly low key enough to go under the government's radar..
Kitboga I'm 100% sure this guy made your day!! First scammer that actually has a heart and feels guilty about what hes doing and it's the best thing for him to quit and get a real job
I know I’ve talked about scammers being the worst of the worst… but there’s good people working in the scam center. Who are that desperate… god bless this man.
true. but its getting payed commission so some days can be really bad and some good. a scammer could make 3 $500 dollar sales in a hour which would be $21 which is good. the usual time it takes to scam someone can be 10-15 mins so a good scammer could make 4-5 sales in a hour $28-$35 in a hour for them. but you are right tho, for all the money they make that get back that little. well i guess the scammers get scammed too lol
Murk320 How can they scam someone in 10-15 minutes if they are instructing people to drive to Walmart to buy gift cards. I would think the average call would be closer to an hour.
It depends. I made $50K a month on average. Though my accent and referring to people by name made me seem more legit. Now I make less than $1000 a month. I would get a job in customer service, but I would have to lie about my experience.
I hope that guy is able to make it in life. Its not simple to just quit a job like that if your countries economy is bad. Thats why toshers were literally willing to scrub through shit in europe.
To explain the amount of respect I have for this RU-vidr and the man on the phone. I have for the first time ever in my career of watching videos shared this video to many people. Keep up the good work man.
By far the best Kit video I’ve seen!! When reality and normalcy finally hits!! I’ve watched for days straight Kit, JB, ScamRev!! But this one I’ll remember!!
I've watched most of your videos and this one is by far the best! I think he's the only one ever to admit it's a scam before being caught it sounds like he actually is a decent person. Makes me want to cry a little💜💜💜
What an amazing encounter. Thank you for that guy being honest, I do feel bad for scammers in a way, because I know they're doing these jobs out of desperation. I hope the best for that guy, for exposing these scams and I hope something changes in India to stop the current corruption :\
Also, Kit, why are you so hesitant to call it real? I don't understand why someone would be falsing that stuff. It certainly doesn't help their business or anything.
Mint Mochi sometimes they do it to make people feel sorry for them so that they will ultimately give them money regardless. It's not something to easily wrap your head around and it's devastating, but it's the truth.
There was a lot of reality in this video that we don't always have to acknowledge because we get to only see the funny bits behind a screen. But these are real people, a lot of them are pushed into this line of work as a way to keep them or their families off the streets. And this guy has shown us that they don't always enjoy it either, and that a lot of the times it's done out of necessity. That doesn't excuse the work they're doing, but it does give us a little bit more background on what's going on.
The funny videos are always great but how real this call gets makes it the best. Kudos to the scammer for being so brutally honest. I seriously hope this guy has managed to escape the scamming world and got on his feet in life
That is great to find one that has a heart! It only has to start with one, and then maybe others will follow and start feeling as bad about what they do. God Bless and good luck to that man in his future endeavors! I wish him well!
This actually made me cry a little holy shit...the desperation of some of the people who fall for working for them is insane and I feel so bad that they have to be put through that sort of thing
He's right about having to pay for a job in corrupt countries. It's even worse than you can imagine... basically it costs more than the job pays in several years. So the only way to get your money back is to get a higher position and then take bribes to from people who are applying to work there... and the cycle continues.
