I suspect this must be heaven on Earth for NISSAN bros, I appreciate it very much because I like it too, my inner Gran Turismo child loves it. I knew the moment I saw the thumbnail video image of the 1998 R390GT1 on the wall this was going to be good. When you open the first 10 seconds with a montage of R34, Z, R35 JGTC/SuperGT winning cars with the iconic MOTUL and PITWORK sponsorship on them I'm hooked. I'm liking the new Larry Chen channel doing his own thing. 2:00 minutes in and there's the thumbnail car on the wall: that is the 3rd place overall placed car from the 1998 24 Hours of Le Mans driven by Kazuyoshi Hoshino (yes the man who started IMPUL and has wheels named after him) Aguri Suzuki (first Japanese F1 driver) Mashiko Kageyama longtime NISSAN factory driver and brand supporter. Correction (you were close) the 1998 R390GT1 engine variant code is VRH35L it is a twin turbocharged 3.5L DOHC V8 and develops around 650 - 700hp. You walk through the front hall all it says is NISMO then the R390GT1 on the wall and my jaw hits the floor and I start to well up with tears of joy.

Love how cool the Z owner was, and how awesome it was that he was the guy that developed the brake system for the R35 Spec-V and then mimicked that on his Z!! So cool!

I watched it on an other channel while ago "Garage Defend" they sent an M Spec Nür GTR34 to Omori Factory last year and now its done. If I remember it correctly they put RB28 in it. Great stuff 👏 ✌️💖

14:53 that right there is a one-of-one car. Nismo's factory demo car for the Sports Resetting tuning menu. Also happens to be the only BNR34 painted in QT1 Pearl White (Not to be confused with the QX1 Pearl White on the Kouki cars). EDIT: 29:00 That's actually chassis #021 which was originally KR4 Sonic Silver and is a customer car, but due to poor rust repairs the new owner in Hong Kong had a full Nismo restoration and had it painted in Blossom Yellow to match the factory prototype (RUF colour). :)

To add perspective on the Z31 a 1:06 at Tsukuba is 2.2 seconds slower than a Ferrari F40 with a professional driver.

Garage Defend just had an R34 done by Omori Factory. Garage Defend in Nogoya Japan. It was the same color as that Charcoal Grey R34

The engine in that GT1 on the wall is the same architecture found in all the modern day Mclaren sport cars … the purchased the rights to that engine in the late 90s… so you can thank Nissan for modern day mclaren cars

I purchased my R32 for 7000.00 in 2001; excellent condition. I wish I would have shipped it back to the states.

You can get NON USA parts for R32, R34, etc from US Nissan dealers. Provide the dealer your VIN photograph and ask them to call DPIC. Nissan Main Land will ship the part from Japan to the dealer in the states.
