Every year, from the end of September to the beginning of October, we make shiso seed tsukudani.
Just by adding certain things, it becomes a very refreshing tsukudani.
In our house, it is very useful not only as an accompaniment to rice, but also as a condiment when we make zosui (rice porridge) in a pot.
When I use it as condiments for zosui, it is so good that my chopsticks don't stop.
