mine was an older fridge 98 model Kenmore . I knew my coils were frozen cause you could see Frost in the back panel of the freezer section. if your filters and dust covers/guards are dirty try cleaning them first and then see if it fixed the issue with your fridge. if not then go on to the other test which is your relay and then go up top to the coils
