seeing someone outside the speedrun discord mention hywoosts is so weird lmao speaking of hywoosts actually, you dont have to do the crusher jump manually. you can make a multibind with up, jump and bodyslam, and use that after bouncing off of the wall instead of down like you would with normal woosts (idk if thats what you did here but thought itd be worth sharing anyway) cool stuff tho!!!, its rlly cool seeing actual tech getting used in a context thats usually more "casual", i guess :3

You can do the section at 3:08 while nabbing the Tomato (by a very precise woost to juke Pizzaface), by the way, you have to get Pizzaface *really* close, then woost away
Actually, when i was p ranking bloodsauce dungeon and i decided that i'm gonna collect mushroom toppin in lap 2, i discovered that you don't need toppings to p rank the level (yea that's absurd)
I know the panic command skips the intro animation but when you said this level required swap mode i thought that it was because you needed the noise but his gate animation being extended killed him
Technically peppino’s entrance animation would kill him as well if you spawned pizzaface right away so I don’t think it’s an issue that I skipped it. If it is I could’ve just started as peppino and swapped to the noise after and it wouldn’t change a thing

I mentioned this in an earlier comment on another video, but using swap mode, how do you think the runs would look if you did one character the whole time, and only used the other for the unbeatable rooms? This video is a good example of what I meant so I thought I could rephrase. Since the Noise’s free jetpack is what makes the run beatable, then what do think the run would look like if you beat every room as Peppino except that one room? I imagine the strats would be very different than some levels’ turnouts, especially since you only did Noise in Crust Cove for the sake of a few rooms.
I don’t really think it would be that different but it is an interesting idea. Personally I like seeing levels be possible with just one character, but if you want to see how much of a level a particular character can do you can totally do that.
@@gengar_animations Oh I definitely can’t, I don’t have the talent. I was just more interested in your thoughts on the matter, since both movesets of the two feel so different.
@@gengar_animations you have to wallbounce at the top so that he is as far as possible from the exit, then make a very precise tornado slide to get out, if you lure him too much he will intercept you anyways, i tried this room for like an hour and a half and only got it 3 times
