Apparently driving onto and off of a ramp at speed is one of those things that looks really tricky, but is actually surprisingly easy.

When the front ramp went down, I fully expected the whole thing to pole vault into oblivion.

@@ffagilar2245 That could work, but that would be VERY dangerous. If you were on a motorway that was a bit crowded for example, reversing off it has a high chance of causing an accident. Not to mention you'd have to reverse off, then stop reversing and accelerate again... all while still moving. That's definitely nto something that's gonna want to be done by someone who's only just passed their driving test. So it actually is better to have a ramp at the front.

@@ipodhty yes, but with a jerry can you can refuel one car, then go back, refuel it and go refuel another guy. With this you can cut down in half the number of gas stations and refuel a lot of people along the way

After long journeys, you would want a long break anyway. On extreme cases: a good night's sleep. Besides, recharging times are picking up speed, with some vehicles as little as half an hour.
